I call Taras an angel who came to me through my daughter,where she works and he shops Eventually she learned that he is a contractor.Music to her young ears.We had a few contractors quote the basement renovation,and it wasn't their price that didn't get them the job.it was their personality.When Taras came to look at the job,his personality,and down to earthiness won me over immediately.When he told me that he would take on the task of transforming our bare bones,cold and damp basement into the space that I have been dreaming of for 34 years,I could barely contain my excitement, but I had not known a price for the job as of yet. Taras did not keep me in suspense for too long.THE PRICE WAS RIGHT:),and the start date was perfect.We read over the contract,and made clear any thing that was not .Taras gave me a briefing about his staff/crew and what to expect at certain intervals of the job.I was kept informed of all stages and progress,as well as given the opportunity to be part of the decision making.The staff,Terry and Andrew are a great team.They are always courteous,polite and respectful of the family and our home.They all gave me valuable advice on various decisions I had to make,and told me a few tips for tricks of the trade along the way. Terry is the best,meticulous dry-waller, mudder,and painter you will ever hire.Taras loves to save the homeowner unnecessary expenses too.He saved me a lot just on the choice of hinges and doors alone!He is frugal where it counts without jeopardizing quality or craftsmanship. Double T Contracting Inc. does impeccable work,on-time timelines,fair pricing,resolves dilemmas, no stress to the home owner. Many thanks to this great TEAM that we now are the very proud owners after ONLY 3 short weeks of fabulous living spaces.........a good size family area,a craft,computer table area,an office,a laundry room,bathroom,and a lot of much needed storage space. Taras Tanchak is a young man of integrity. I will definitely be hiring Double T. contracting Inc. to renovate our kitchen and main floor bathroom.I highly recommend Taras for any renovation or build. Two years ago I looked through the telephone book for a company to take flood problems away from our backyard.We hired Fortunato's Landscape & Design based on the personality and the values of the Family owned company.They are members of Landscape Ontario,Horticultural Trades Association. They are the most honest,and hard working couple I have come across in many years.They aim to please their customers.They do not disappoint.They explain exactly what needs to be done to accomplish what the home owner wants.A french drain was installed in our yard to remedy the flood problems.The property was properly graded,new soil and sod was laid. The garden that runs the perimeter of the property was cleaned up and new soil added. Two patio areas were created, one for dining and the other for a fire pit. Rob and Nancy not only resolved our flood issues but, they transformed our back yard into a lovely lush garden that is enjoyed by family,friends and neighbours. I highly recommend that you hire this family operated business .You will be very happy that you did..............No Regrets)
