My husband and I had started to notice black rubber coming out of our bathtub spout. I was concerned something was very wrong, and so we had Liam from Capital Plumbing & Heating out. It turns out that the rubber hoses on the hot water tank had started to degrade and was luckily a quick fix. Liam had all the parts and skills necessary to replace the rubber hoses with pipes. While working on this project, he discovered our main water shutoff valve was also broken. We scheduled a second, more complicated job. We had to get Epcor out to turn off the water to the house and Liam had to coordinate his work to get it ready in time. Luckily, Epcor came quickly and Liam finished the job quickly too. He had given us great advice about making sure he was on site so we wouldn't have to go without water and call Epcor a second time to turn the water back on. Liam made sure to show us all work that had been done at the end of both jobs and advised us to check that night for any leaks just in case (no leaks found). Our price ended up being lower than quoted since Epcor came early. I am extremely pleased with Liam's patience, professionalism and friendly demeanour as well as the obvious care and pride he takes in his work. I would have him back for any plumbing related work!

Sunview was a pleasure to work with. We were looking to replace 7 windows and a sliding glass patio door. The estimator was kind and friendly and didn't put any pressure on me to make an immediate decision. When we called back a few weeks later, the estimate was still honoured and we picked out windows at the show room. Staff were up front and honest about prices, potential work complications (thankfully there were none) and timelines. The installation was quick and installers were very friendly and made sure to show us how all the windows and doors worked. But the best part is that our windows and patio door are amazing! I've noticed a reduction in sound and the windows are so easy to open and close. I look forward to a less drafty winter next year, and have already noticed a draft reduction in our north facing office. The estimator suggested replacing a split pane window from the 90s with a beautiful single pane window and our den looks so large and bright now. The sliding glass patio door works like a charm and is a huge quality of life improvement over the 30 year old door that was constantly getting stuck. Overall, this was an incredibly positive experience and great product. I would recommend Sunview to anyone!

When we moved into our new place, we had Reid's Roofing replace all of our eavestroughs. They did a quick job for a good price and fixed all the issues of water overflowing by installing additional downspouts, including one that drains above our front walkway. They pinned it to our archway and even created a downspout that we could lift up and down so we could mow the lawn without issue. They did this without even asking, as I didn't even know it was something I could ask for! I called them again about heat loss through the attic. They did a quick assessment using google maps and told me there was no work necessary and that our heat loss was normal. I was so glad to have an honest opinion from a company and that they didn't charge me for an ultimately unnecessary visit. Also, the office staff are very kind, friendly and return calls right away. I will always call Reid's Roofing if I need any roofing work done.

Four Seasons Furnace offers the best service of almost any business I've dealt with. I can't say enough good things about this company -- they're installed new furnaces and hot water tanks at both my home and rental property. The owner is always honest with you about what you actually need for your home and doesn't try to upsell, and is also knowledgeable about rebates on offer. The office staff are extremely kind and pleasant as are the workers. Even my tenants have remarked on how kind the technicians are. I've had AC, two furnaces and 2 hot water tanks installed (rental property and home) and many years of inspection and cleanings. Only once was I unsatisfied with some work done and when I called it was remedied immediately (within a week) at no extra cost to me. During one install, the thermostat shorted at my rental unit and they sold me a wireless thermostat at a discount. I also had 2 hot water tanks go within a week of each other and Four Seasons replaced both and gave me a good deal which eased the financial burden. Because of their excellent service, everyone in my family uses their services for our home, rental and commercial properties and I recommend them to anyone who asks. As a final note, when they installed my grandmother's furnace (she was married to a plumber and owned a large rental unit for much of her life), she wanted to see the installation. She was very ill at the time and the technicians patiently helped her down the stairs and explained the install and she was pleased and satisfied with their work.
