We have been using Royal Green irrigation for about 3 years now. Nino's service is excellent. Recently, we did a renovation of our home and the sprinkler system needed some repairs. Nino was very prompt and the service was excellent as always.

This is the second time we have used PTR Carpentry- the first being two years ago to frame our basement. You are truly in good hands when you hire PTR. Our project escalated into a much larger job due to existing conditions, and every step of the way, Paul would exceed expectations. From making modifications to allow for the LVL to be hidden in the ceiling, to designing a new tray ceiling when the ceiling joists had to be removed (which was suggested by Paul). The final result was a framed living room/kitchen that was simply much better than we originally had planned. The crew was also personable, hard-working, and very proficient in their work. I would highly recommend PTR to anyone requiring this service.

I contacted Nino for a quote to install an irrigation/sprinkler system in my front and back lawn and gardens. It was apparent to me that Nino was very professional and experienced in his field of work; and after receiving a very reasonable quotation, we agreed to start the work a couple of weeks later. He performed the work exactly when he said he would, it was done very professionally (working great/perfectly hidden underground lines/no damage whatsoever to property) with high quality materials. I would recommend Nino highly to anyone who requires this service.

We hired Braga Contracting to do the underpinning, remove a load bearing wall, and install 3 beams in our basement. It is not hard to see why Braga has a perfect rating on homestars. I can honestly say that I have never had such a great experience with a contractor (and I have done business with many). Tony is very honest, personable and experienced. He is also extremely customer oriented. Not only was the work done to a very high level of quality, but it was very reasonably priced, and performed without any delays. Tony plans his work (even pointing out potential problems that clearly were not in his scope of work) and works with his crew onsite. It is obvious that he clearly enjoys his work. His crew is friendly, hard working, and always cleaned up after themselves when they were done at the end of the day. I would strongly recommend Braga to anyone that requires this type of service.

We were very impressed with the work performed by PTR Carpentry. Paul is obviously very detailed oriented and focused on the quality of his work. He also showed up on time and was very accomodating to changes in schedule when his work was delayed. We are going to recommend Paul to anyone we know in the GTA area that requires similar work to be performed.

We hired David R Smith Design to complete the permit application and design for our basement and main floor renovation to our bungalow. This request included a complete redesign of the existing basement - including load bearing wall demo/structural beam design, underpinning, and a new walkout to the backyard. On the main floor, we required a revised layout for the front half of the house – including a new kitchen layout. From the initial meeting with David, we were very impressed with his professionalism, experience and ideas, and general customer oriented approach. After taking meticulous measurements of the house, he met with us at a later date to go over different layout options. Even though we were very happy with the initial design, we discussed with friends (one of whom is an interior designer) who recommended some revisions. When we talked to David about these revisions, he gave valid and sound reasons why these suggestions would not work in our space and for our specific needs and wants. We appreciated his candor and felt that his advice came from a genuine desire to fulfill our vision for our space. It was obvious to us that his initial design choices were well thought out and personalized so we went with original suggestions. The permit application process was completely seamless with David. He prepared all the required forms and permit drawings (site plan, elevation, cross-section, underpinning, details, etc) on our behalf. We received our permit within 8 business days. I have heard from others who have encountered significant delays in obtaining their permits due to re-submissions that were required. It is obvious that David is very familiar with the city’s permit requirements. We do not have anything negative to say about our experience with David. He was very accommodating (met with us several times after normal working hours) and was always reachable and responsive to any questions that we had. We would recommend David R Smith Design to anyone who requires permit drawings or architectural design for their home.
