We contacted 5 companies to come and give us an estimate to have a very large old tree, at least 50ft tall, removed that had a lot of damage from the last ice storm and was continuing to loose a lot of big branches during any significant wind. Only 3 returned our emails to arrange to come and give a quote, Tree doctor was reasonably priced compared to the others, approx in the middle of the other 2. But first impressions and the thorough discussions on everything needed and that would be done, we chose Tree Doctor. From that initial contact, the gentlemen who came and gave us our quote and all our legal/permit requirements, all the way thru to the crew that came out, everyone was great, friendly and very informative to any and all questions/concerns we had. They showed up the day, and time they gave, and were pretty well finished, cleaned up and gone within 2 hours, making sure all the little things were cleaned and taken care of. The office staff and accounting answered all our questions and we received all final responses and receipts promptly as promised. In our situation, everything went as planned and promised, everything that was quoted was completed and with no hidden or extra costs, and in our eyes, the crew was more than professional, respectful and polite with my wife, who was home alone, and was treated as the most important customer they had that day, as every customer should be. Again, our experience, from beginning to end, and with EVERYONE involved beginning to end, was nothing but amazing and we would recommend Tree Doctor to anyone who asked us or that we know needed their services. I had to write and thank Hometurf for resolving our front lawn issue. Our lawn appeared to us to be dieing/burnt after an application. We called them and first thing the next morning their field supervisor was here and concluded that part of the problem was a fungus we didnt know about. After an application and seed to resolve this issue, we noticed our lawn turning green again just after a couple days, and we thought it was lost and finished for the season. Now just a couple weeks later, our front lawn is back to the full thick green lawn we've always had, and neighbours comment on. Being with Hometurf the last few years, has always been hassle free and easy to deal with, but after this and being quick to call and complain, we had to be quick and say Thank You to Hometurf and everyone involved. Amazing job and with no questions asked or hesitations in coming out to take care of us as part of our package, any issues or problems just call, and they took care of it with No hidden or extra charges, Great Job Hometurf

After researching a reliable and trustworthy local plumber, I came across Mister Plumber, who had a lot of great reviews and a great rating. We had a minor project to be done, check for a leak we thought we were hearing, and, install a new dishwasher. I called and spoke with Vlad, who gave me a few ideas over the phone to check for the source of the leak, and what he thought it may be. He was very polite, professional and offered lots of free advice when he arrived, and as we know, there isn't much free nowadays. The new dishwasher was installed quick and looks/works perfect. He also checked around for what we thought could be a leak, and sure enough, it was exactly what he thought over the phone, Hot water expanding the pipes making a similar sound to dripping. His experience led him to believe this just over the phone. The cost was exactly what he quoted, even though he spent time checking for the leak, installed a new valve stem where the old one was siezed, and, made sure that everything was cleaned up and as it was when he arrived. I'd highly recommend Vlad and Mister Plumber to anyone who is looking for great, honest, price competitive work.
