As well, the kind words and referrals! Believe me, I do not want to sound like I am attacking new home builders. However there is a reason why much of our business is new home inspections. Most is from people who are buying a new home for the second time. The reason why? They've already been through it. They are well aware of the workmanship of the crews who did a rush job to build the house. It doesn't matter what end of the spectrum the house is in. In this case, a 30 day old gorgeous house in Oakville which had leaks in the basement. Something that should be easily fixed if addressed soon. Otherwise if it’s a wet spring, the pool in the basement they didn't order should be in by early summer. Many an inspection will uncover foundation issues, leakage in various areas, and where corners have been cut.
