I don't write very many reviews but felt this one was necessary so as to inform others of this company and it's practices. We had a move scheduled for June 30th and we had hired 3 movers. A little bit about the movers themselves: they are students! These are NOT professional movers, they will readily admit and tell you they are students. 2 of them were wearing the Apollo t-shirt and I have to say they worked hard but still caused damage. More on that later. The 3rd guy wasn't which seemed a little odd at first but no big deal right? The original mover who I had been in touch with on the phone told me that I had hired 3 but essentially there were 2 of them. At first I did not know what to make of this and thought maybe he was trying to be funny so I let it go. It was only until about 3 hours in when I realized that the third guy (whom I don't even know if he was an employee) wasn't doing much and when I asked my main mover why he had to be told everything to do he told me that he doesn't help with any of the tough work and that I should file a complaint with the owner. And that's exactly what I did. I shouldn't have to tell a mover what to do or get on them for basically acting as a wrapping guy. I paid this company for a reason and seriously regret it. Moreover, none of the 3 had booties for their shoes nor were any of them wearing masks. Simple, basic things and they couldn't even get that right. To make matters worse, the movers dented a brand new table top which we had just assembled. It was literally the only thing i didn't want scratched or dented but such is my luck I guess. If that wasn't enough, I called Prashant (the Apollo rep) and he tried to tell me that these damages are not covered by the move and are considered incidental but that he would fix it for me. If dents and scratches and damage are not covered then what is?!? Total loss of a piece of furniture? The final nail in the coffin is the fact that as of today, he has not called me back to schedule or request a time to come and repair our table top. I could go on but I think you get the point. Buyer beware for sure and honestly, if I could do it again, I'd have spent the extra $300-$500 and dealt with a more professional company. JULY 14 Update - I received a call from the company and they have committed to making things right. Thank you.
