Our sink stopped draining completely! They sent Wondy from Mr Rooter and he did a great job. He snaked the sink, flushed the pipe, and it was unclogged and the job was done in about 20 min! Will call again if we need help.

We hired a previous company to fix the siding and replace a faux window in the front of our house. However, they were extremely unprofessional and misrepresented themselves. They said they could replace our faux windows, but they didn't know how to do windows so we ended up with a hack job. After calling over 20 different companies, we found John McLennan Contracting, and it was a completely different experience. John and his crew are experienced and really know what they're doing. From our experience, they have the means to do whatever you need done on your home. Windows? Siding? Repairs? Interior? Exterior? Great. They made it happen for us. They did a wonderful job on the faux window and fixed the hack job siding. Now the front of our home looks like what we wanted in the first place. If only we would have found them first! I highly recommend this company. Professional, experienced, and great work. Overall, an excellent experience! Thanks John. I have included before and after photos below.

Our garage door stopped working randomly. We would try to close it and it kept opening back up. Nathan did an amazing job! He fully analyzed the situation and provided a thorough explanation of the possible issues with the door. He didn't push the "most expensive" options on us. He determined exactly what the issue was (the motor was stuck), and he did overall maintenance on the door (tightening screws, lubricated the joints, worked on the motor), and he re-aligned the chain. The door is now working great now, and there were no extra costs beyond the base cost to come out! Definitely recommended for an honest assessment and great work to fix the problem!

We received several quotes before we choose Level Q. We ended up choosing them because the quote was reasonable, and Ehab was very responsive and professional. He answered all of our questions and was flexible with design changes throughout the process. A few companies we contacted stopped returning calls/emails when we asked questions about the quote and wanted to make changes. The deposit was also reasonable. Some of the other companies wanted 50% right off the top even if the start date was 6 or more months out. We did have to book many months in advance (6 to 8 months before the job started) because they are busy. The process of choosing our finishings and appliances was smooth, and Ehab was very helpful during the process. The lag time did allow us to purchase and receive all of our appliances prior to the job start date. This was helpful when it was time to do the job because we weren't waiting for anything. The cabinet company they work with did a great job on the final product (we love the custom cabinets!), but they weren't flexible with covid protocols leading to an extremely unpleasant experience with the woman at the office. Otherwise we are very happy with our kitchen! It turned out beautifully and it's extremely functional. Exactly what we needed (we have way more storage now given that our kitchen is relatively small, and the custom storage solutions they installed for us are amazing!). Once the job started the work was done promptly and professionally. We made a variety of requests along the way, and Ehab's team was quick to accommodate. Everything we requested was done in a timely manner. The team members were all very friendly, professional and easy to work with when they were at the house. The job stayed on budget and there were no "surprises" so that was helpful. Extra costs were generally based on our specific requests, and I appreciated how transparent their invoicing system is (you see all the line items and their costs). We would definitely recommend Level Q (Ehab and his team) if you're looking to do some home renovations!

Don't make the same mistake we did. DO NOT hire this man. Under any circumstances. We hired him to fix an old dormer window in the front of the house and also replace the siding. The whole point of this service was primarily to replace the false window, and have the front match our new (black) windows. Bret said he could do it, and said he wanted to “make us happy.” He failed to clarify exactly the design he chose for the front. He chose the materials and design, and for the dormer window, we decided to use a tint. So on install day he decided the tint wouldn’t work, and installed aluminum instead — without consulting us. He just made a call and did it independently. We are in an attached townhouse, and I specifically asked him not to touch the neighbour’s side, but he went over on her side anyways and left it half-done. If you look at the siding, it’s poorly done. There are mismatched lines, and uneven finishes. When he was done for the day, we told him that we didn’t like what he did with the windows (and I didn’t like his design choices for the siding), and he said he would come back to fix. We purchased (with our own money outside of the original cost) a different material for the window, but he never came back to finish the job. Every text message starts with “I’m sorry” and ends with some excuse for why he can’t come back. His phone doesn’t work, his truck is broken, he's sick, he has personal problems and he's depressed, the weather is bad, he’s buying a new phone now — all code for he’s not coming back. I deeply regret paying the bulk of the balance before he returned to finish the job. I took him at his word when he said he would come back. When I started looking at the pricing for raw materials, I realized that he overcharged us big time. With the cost of materials, boom lift rental, and labour … we easily payed $4000 extra unless that fee for labour for 1 day (2 people) makes any sense? And even with that extra money he siphoned off of us, he refused to come back and finish the job. I waited 3 MONTHS to write this because I gave him endless chances to return and finish the job. He strung us along all this time telling us he will come back, but yet here we are. This man seems to have a difficult time telling the truth about anything. I’m writing this review is because 1. He failed to return and finish the job 2. He is the most unprofessional individual I have ever worked with, and 3. The work itself is unsatisfactory (not what we agreed upon). We gave him every opportunity to rectify the situation. If he would have kept to what he said, returned, and finished the job as he stated he would then you wouldn’t be reading this. I will be taking legal action to recoup the lost funds as I now have to hire someone to re-do his poor, incomplete, and unprofessional work.
