AB Granito was chosen to renovate our kitchen - new counter top, sink, and plumbing work. Within months the sink leaked, soaking the area and pooling water on our new kitchen floor. A plumber was sent out, tried to fix the problem. Months later it leaked again. The plumber returned, told us he pointed out to the company that the pipes he used were likely not suitable for the job, tried to fix it using duct tape around a joint. Just before the sink leaked again ( third time ). After 6 emails to the Manager , he is steadfastly refusing to rectify the problem. He says we are out of the warranty time. He is supporting sub standard work and showing complete disregard for us as customers. In good faith we trusted this company to live up to their reputation and they have let us down.

As mentioned in the email correspondence you have had with the manager, your job was completed in April of 2019, which is almost 2 years ago. The warranty that is offered on labor for the plumbing we are responsible for is valid for 1 year, and comes directly from the licensed plumbers we use. Also, as mentioned in the same correspondence, we can not determine when the duct tape was placed on the pipe, or if that is undoubtedly the reason you have a small drip occurring now. We advise that you contact your plumber for a quick service call to fix this issue.

Unfortunately, we can not offer any warranty on the original piping in the house, which is what your sink was connected to. It looks like the original elbow trap, which was not replaced by our plumber, is what we believe is causing the leaking.

We are very sorry to hear that you are having issues with flooding on your main floor and that it could possibly be connected to the plumbing that was done through our licensed plumber. We would have been very willing to help and take care of this issue, either through our company’s or our contractor’s insurance. However, we do not have a record of this issue being mentioned in any previous email correspondence with you. If you have any record of emails regarding this issue, please send them to us.
