Bart came by in October, and quoted us for a full bathroom renovation, and November 1st some guy came by to do the demo. I had to direct him to what should be removed (tile/toilet/tub/vanity) wasn't sure if he should be taking the floor and drywall, so he left it. This is why i tried to hire a professional. I paid Bart $2500 for a deposit at that time, and he was to start the following week....and then it was the week after, or the week after that. 3 months went by and every week was a new excuse or reason why he couldn't start. He wouldn't answer his phone or come by to talk, only txt messages saying next week he would start. Eventually i asked for my deposit back (after 3 months), and even offered him to keep $1000 for demo costs of the 150sqft room. He told me demo was $2000 plus tax, and only refunded me a cpl hundred dollars. That was my experience....we were left without a usable main bathroom for 3 months, out $2000 and had to find a new contractor to actually do the work.
