One of the garage door cables broke on Sat morning. I found ONC through HomeStars and contacted them to get it repaired. John quoted me a price over the phone and luckily, he had an opening in the afternoon. He came on time and replaced the broken cable and also the other side as it is advisable to get both replaced at the same time, because my cables were quite old. While he was there, I also got the bottom rubber strip of the door replaced as it was coming off. He also lubricated all hinges did some minor adjustments to make sure the door was running on the railings smoothly. John is professional and I would recommend them for any garage door repair work.

Joes is very professional and courteous and I would recommend him to anyone. Last January, we had a raccoon in the attic. Joe came to inspect the problem on a very cold day and even as he walked in, he noticed where our uninvited guest has gone in. With his experience, he mentioned that when we close that entry point, there may be other places our ‘friend’ would try to go back in and suggested that we need to proactively block those places. He came back when the temp was a bit warmer (about +5) and put in a one-way door and also blocked possible areas our ‘friend’ might try to go back in. After a week later, the racoon moved out, and attempted to come back in several days. The week following raccoon’s exit, it was continuously -10 or below with snow on the roof, preventing Joe from coming and removing the one-way door. It must be mentioned that Joe came after recovering from his flu on another cold day to remove the one-way door and close that entry.

I found Vule Tile from Homestars. He was professional in his approach. We had some initial communication while negotiating the price. This was an exterior job and the work was done during some very hot summer days. But Vule and his team came very early and worked under hot conditions and completed the job well.

Once again, Joe came to help. This time it was a wasp hive that was inside the external brick wall, on the side of the house. It was discovered by the roofers and one got bitten too. Joe came and spent quite a while doing what was needed. I thought he might have to wear protective gear. However, he said no need and obviously, knew what he was doing.

Had a problem with an uninvited guest. Called Joe and he came and found the location where our friend (squirrel) has managed to get in. Joe was very good with quickly identifying the location. He went up on the roof when there was some snow on the roof. Joe came back on another day, when it was a bit warmer, to close the entrance and put a one-way trap door. The squirrel was out within a day and we found that it was trying hard to get back in without any luck. We left the trap there for two weeks before Joe came back to remove the trap door and close off everything. Joe even brought asphalt shingles to cover the area well. He took pictures of the affected area before and after the work. He explains the problem and what he is going to do. Finding good people is hard these days and I would recommend Joe to anyone.

This is a long overdue review. Ricardo was helpful in getting the measurments done and selecting a good hardwood. Patrick from Recovery came with two others to get the job done. We have already removed the carpet and put some extra screws in by that time. I would recommend Milton Hardwood and Patrick to anyone.

We contacted Chris to get some interlocking work done in the front of our house and get a patio done in the back yard. He is very good and I would recommend him to anyone. This was done is summer of 2012 (little late for this review). He had to work during some very hot summer days and he put all his effort to his work.
