I was referred to KCL by GE when I contacted for repairs for a GE gas dryer that was outside of the warrenty period. They gave me KCLs contact information. When KCL called me back they immediately identified what the issue was (a broken knob) and offered an immediate remedy I could do right now myself, and where to get the simple part locally. The advice worked and I can dry clothes again. Its rare to encounter someone who 1) takes the time to hear your applicance problem over the phone 2) Helps you fix it for free It was my first time calling KCL, but I will definately use them in the future.

Waited months longer than initially advised for a 2x window and front entry door with sidelights. When installation finally took place they installed the wrong sidelights/door trim (without noticing or advising us) and there was damaged/sloppy work in several areas. We also paid extra for blueskin to be added to the installation, and it was not done. We connected with Brock about these problems but they have no timeline for when these will be fixed, have not advised WHAT will be fixed and have taken our money in full. They have not returned my calls or emails requesting updates. I would not recommend Brock windows/doors - wrong items, incorrect installation, damaged items. EDIT: June 10/2022: You can Brock 'stock' response to my review here. However they continue to not respond to my emails or calls. I have now contacted over 12 times and still have no resolution. You will also notice they send this stock response, but don't reach out for names/order #s/contact info. I do not recommend Brock Windows/Doors.

Karen, we are fully aware of the concerns you have outlined for project #211961 and further information was not required in this instance. We have been working internally to resolve your concerns and would like to apologize if your phone calls or emails have not been promptly addressed. We are currently reviewing your contract with regards to the grain and blue skin application that was initially requested so we may resolve your concerns appropriately. We have Dave and his team in to complete the following jobs: new subpump, interior french drain, concrete benching, dimple boarding, interior and exterior waterproofing. Dave and his staff are respectiful, honest, ontime and consulted with our engineer several times on the project. Would definately recommend them - we had other quotes (some of which wanted to do work that would effect the structure of our home negatively) - Dave was thorough and cautious - we now have a dry basement.

Had a home inspection done. After moving in found that there were many missed issues that should have been caught in the home inspection (esp considering price and reported level of expertise - i.e. engineer). See photo from inspection report of obviously water stained electrical panel - there was an active leak behind the panel that was missed. (Water + electricity!) There were many other misses from the home inspection. When I connected with a manager (Sal) to discuss, he reported he would follow-up with me after discussing with home inspector (Walter), but he never called/emailed back (am writing this months later). Overall I expected greater expertise, especially with some of the problems that have emerged. And expected a return call when one is promised. I would not recommend Carson Dunlop. EDIT: I reached out to Michael as per his message below on May 20, 2022 still have yet to have a response from him.
