We moved into our house a year ago. We discovered that the previous owner had built a front planter which extended over city boundary lines for pipes etc and we were informed it had to be reduced. We had met Oasis at the home Show and their estimate was the most reasonable. They came and completed the job for us last August. The workers were friendly, punctual, hardworking. They didn't leave any mess behind. Fast forward to this year and someone came form the City to measure the planter and check it was all correct now. He discovered it was still over by a certain amount. We informed Oasis, they came and did their own measurements and admitted they had miscalculated the first time and promised to come and rectify it as soon as spring came. They have been true to their word and completed this job 2 or 3 weeks ago. I like the quality of their work. The only Con I would give is they are very hard to communicate with. They completely forgot about an estimate they were giving for some other work we wanted and then they haven't replied to 2 or 3 emails we have sent. Unfortunately we are considering going elsewhere because of this problem.

I had family coming to stay and wanted to have the house spotless so I hired Mango Maids based on the fact we had agreed a checklist of all the jobs they would complete during the cleaning. The 2 cleaners were supposed to bring this checklist with them. When they arrived they did not have it. They commented that the house seemed clean enough and why did I need to hire them. They were supposed to spend 4 hours but left after 3 and did not dust the blinds which was one of the agreed tasks. After they left I realised they had mopped my washroom floor but without sweeping up the debris first!

This was our first major home improvement project. We chose M.A.D renovations because they were the only company to help us visualize how we wanted our laundry room to look like with the help of computer software. They were happy to keep making changes to the design until we were satisfied. They are a husband and wife team, Lawrence and Sharon, who we have found to be extremely honest and sincere and easy to communicate with. They are always punctual and the work has been completed on time and to a high standard. They obviously take great pride in their work and have told us they strive to win and retain clients for the long term. There were some mistakes made which they could easily have covered up but they admitted to them and rectified them at their own expense. What could have been very stressful was made fairly smooth for us by their excellent service.
