My old mattress was beginning to get a bit worn down. I was starting to feel some of the springs at night. We had our mattress for at least 10 years. We decided to look for a new mattress. John was very helpful. He explained the different features of all the mattresses they carried at the store. He helped me pick one that had pocket coil springs and a pillow top. The mattress I ended up picking was $150 off so I got a great deal.

We already have quite a large propane barbecue grill that we use quite often, but there's nothing quite like the flavour that comes from barbecuing with charcoal. I've wanted one for awhile but we weren't sure which model to get. I've heard through the grapevine that Johnestone's is the place to go for all things barbecue related. I was looking to buy some large hanging planters for our back patio/deck to add some colour and create some shade when we spend time on it in the summer. The salesgirl who assisted me at Byland was very helpful explaining what types of plants were in each planter and how to care for (water, sunlight, etc) it. She helped me pick out a couple and after checking out, they even had someone help me bring them to my car because of the number. They even helped me line my trunk with a plastic drop so as not to get dirt all over it.

We have 2 dogs and a cat living in our home and we had not had the carpets cleaned since we moved in 3 years ago. The accumulation of the stains just from everyday wear and tear were starting to show on our carpet and as tempted as I was to just change the carpet to laminate, I thought we might try carpet cleaning first. One of my friend's recommended Gary at Deep Clean Carpet Care. I was very pleased with the results. 98% of the stains are gone and the prices were pretty reasonable. My carpets feel almost brand new again.
