Shaine and his crew at Madaelabuild were a pleasure to work with. We bought a house with a completely untouched, unfinished basement. Shaine was referred to us and came over for an estimate but also provided us with ideas on the floor plan. He understood our needs and what the space was to be used for. During the construction, as we both work from home, Shaine was respectful of our situation and was able plan accordingly around our schedule. We always knew when he would be here and what was going to be done. After the work day he updated us on what was done and what was up next. He gave us tours throughout the job so we were always up to date on the progress. His sense of style is similar to ours so he had many design suggestions that were incorporated. If we ever did have a question around his design suggestions, which were few, he explained his reasoning and decisions were made accordingly. We received a flexible payment schedule. When deciding what level of materials to purchase he outlined where and with what items we can compromise and where we shouldnt compromise. Overall the quality of his work is excellent as he and his team takes pride in their workmanship. We plan to hire him again for our next big project.

Dan and the team at Azores were referred to us by our neighbour who did their steps/driveway over 10 years ago and it still looks great. Dan spent about an hour to come over for an estimate and talk about what we wanted and the job was completed in less than a week. We settled on aggregate concrete steps and driveway borders. He was very helpful in determining a design that was elegant but not overpowering as he explained the front entrance should be inviting and fit with the rest of the house. The gallery pictures on their site were helpful in determining the final design and colours. During the forming process we were asked clarification questions before the concrete was poured and when concrete day came the team was respectful of the rest of our property to limit their mess and clean up after themselves. Dan also explained how to take care of everything in the years to come. The final product looks great. A bunch of neighbours have already commented on it.
