Alec is one of the rare contractors who does a great job but is a really nice and patient guy, plus he came in with the lowest quote of three bids. He was on site for all steps of the project. Here is a synopsis of my project: DESIGN: My basement is a walkout but the old deck had support beams that hung low so you had to duck when you exited the basement doors. Alec designed the new deck so we have more clearance. Then, my house is very long so I wanted a 40 foot long deck. However, city bylaws have a restiction on deck length. Alec designed the deck to satisfy city requirements. CONSTRUCTION: Alec was onsite with his crew for demolition and building the deck. They were diligent and were there every day they had good weather. One of my neighbours who is home during the day commented that they were very polite and respectful. The guys also did a good job cleaning up upon completion. RESULT: a beautiful deck with Azek boards and glass paneled railings. People have been impressed with the high quality construction. The deck has now been through a Winter (deck was completed in October) and looks just as good as when completed. I recommend Alec to anyone looking to build a deck.

I called Matt and got a quote. It was very reasonable and he was able to start the next day! He told me he would arrive around 10am and did so, He warned us he may need the water off for a few hours but it was off for less than two hours. I was very pleased with his work and matt will be coming back once the basement bathroom is done to install the toilet and vanity. I recommend him to others who need a plumber.
