Hired Burley Movers from Edmonton to move items from an apartment to a house. They arrived on time and had three movers. One mover in particular was reckless in how he loaded and moved our items. He wedged the dolly under some boxes but actually caught the edge of the carpet and ripped it up. We have no way to tack it down so will get dinged on our damage deposit. The companies basic coverage does not cover any damage that the movers cause......UNBELIEVABLE! Because we were being charged by the hour, we saw the same mover walk around the corner if the apartment block and was gone for well over 20 minutes. Later we witnessed the same mover move a cart stacked full of items take a corner to fast and all the containers smashed to the floor, breaking one of the containers. One other casuality was a broken coffee table. It is very disappointing that these things happened because of one employee but Burley Boyz need to cover the damage their own movers cause.
