5 stars for a reason! Our basement flooded and Danial arrived within hours of calling to assess the damage, which was more than what we initially thought. He had his crew in the next morning (he was willing to come in at midnight!) to remove all the carpeting, baseboards etc and get the dehumidifier and fans going. The team came back 3 days later to re-assess and address the drywall, which needed to be removed in many areas. Danial was extremely communicative and gave us constant updates on what to expect, when he and his team would arrive (which were bang on), and it was all done with genuine care for us, our home and our pets. He clearly has the knowledge and experience where water damage has occurred. The 5 Star team made what was a horrible situation far less stressful.

We highly recommend Diamond Cut for painting services. We enlisted their help to repaint our entire living room/dining room/kitchen and two hallways...walls, ceiling and trim. We also had a fair amount of patch work required. From the moment we reached out for a quote through to the end of the job, Danny was probably the most communicative contractor we have dealt with. The team was on schedule and actually completed the job faster than expected. And probably most importantly....the quality of work (both patch work and painting) is exceptional. We will be reaching out to Danny again for additional interior and exterior services. Because they are THAT good. Thanks Danny! Patti

A year ago we had Nathaniel renovate our basement rec room and install a new staircase. The staircase replacement was his suggestion in order to improve the whole space, as well as for safety reasons. A year later and we absolutely love the basement, and the quality of work speaks for itself. It has become one of our favourite places in the house. I would highly recommend P&P for their quality of work, their efficiency, and Nathaniel's vision in suggesting things that will make the space beautiful. This review is a year late, but often the job looks great at first, but you run into issues later on. This is not the case with P&P. The quality stands the test of time. After having less than positive experiences with contractors in the past, our faith has been restored by the whole team at North Shore. From estimate to completion, this team was exceptional to deal with. They are extremely professional, have expert knowledge, can make necessary changes on the fly during installation, and left the property cleaner than when they arrived! Not to mention the courteousness (and sense of humour) of the install team. We will recommend them to anyone who will listen, and will be using them for additional work on our home in the future. You won't go wrong with North Shore.

Be vary careful in dealing with this company, or you are at risk of having their subcontractors put a lien put on your house, waiting 6 months for a project to be completed, endless frustration and final results that will require a significant investment in plants to hide the deficiencies. Two notes of advice - read their contract very carefully before you sign it, and check out their Better Business Bureau rating.

We went through Home Depot for a last minute paint job on our kitchen and bedroom prior to the sale of our townhouse. The HD contractor, Mike, and his crew were able to accomodate us almost immediately, and did a fantastic job (especially the extensive patch work that was required) at a very reasonable price. We subsequently called them back in to paint the main portion of the house we moved into. Although the Home Depot online request showed this store did not offer the service (an IT error), would highly recommend this contractor if you are in the south Mississauga/Oakville area. Price is excellent, patchwork flawless, extremely friendly crew, and will honour their committed time frame (even if the boss has to jump in and help...which he did on the last day).
