I am one of the fussiest home owners when it comes to things done in my home. My family room was damaged due to a water leak so decided to remove the stucco from the ceiling & make it a smooth ceiling flat with new pot lights. Went on Homestars & saw these amazing reviews of Benny's Stucco Removal so decided to call and discuss the job with him. Initially didn't quite buy such great reviews so thought I would pursue this and did with no regrets. I sent Benny photos of Family Room along with a floor plan and emailed to him and I had an estimate back the following day. Basically, this job was done on a "handshake" like the good old days as both he and I felt comfortable with one another. He arrived on the day the time he said he would, despite not realizing it was a civic holiday. The first time I met Benny was at my home that day. Look no further if you want to put your mind at ease, as Benny is the right person for this type of work with many years of experience. You won't find a timelier contractor out there. Arrived at my home on the button, always kept me informed as to the progress he was making on a daily basis and what the next step was. I must say Benny is a perfectionist. The Job was more difficult as my stippled ceiling was painted with oil paint. It took Benny an extra day to finish the job as he added 2 extra coats of lath (unexpected) and honoured his quote not billing me for the extra supplies and time he spent on my ceiling, to make certain it met his high standards he has set for himself. Every other contractor advised me that they would not able to match up the paint color (Benjamin white ceiling paint straight of the can) for my family room with the adjacent open flat ceiling being the kitchen (which was painted several yrs prior with same white ceiling paint) and wanted to charge several hundred dollars extra, but Benny with his experience felt he could and did, saving me a lot of money and anguish. Clean up was not even painful as there was not the big mess I anticipated, as he has the right equipment for this type of work and made sure the rooms were properly sealed before commencing work. I would very highly recommend Benny. He is truly a real gentleman hard to find these days. Benny it was a real pleasure dealing with you and hope you read this review. Harry J
