Do not use these people! When the truck showed up with a paper sign taped to it's side we should've declined. There was an obvious disconnect between what we had worked out with Andrew and the driver (Denis). Specifically the minimum billing time. Not a big deal in itself. After a phone call to Andrew, this was worked out, however Denis was now disgruntled and seemed very disinterested in proceeding. Once the truck was loaded we were then informed that some items will now cost more to move. Andrew was previously asked about any 'hidden' costs and said absolutely not. We attempted another call but he would not answer this time. A day later and after several more messages we have yet to receive a reply. We opted to not pay this ransom (which was asked for before any unloading) and told them we would take care of moving those items. We were supervising this move on behalf of a senior and know he would've been taken advantage of. The silly thing is that the tip we had allocated for the crew would've blown this shake-down out of the water. When all was said and done it was obvious that they'd never experienced a tip (and didn't this time). They didn't know what one was. To me that speaks volumes. The original goods where stored nice and organized in the storage locker but the pile of mess we now have will take more time to fix than the move. Had they just done a nice job and moved everything, they'd have not only been able to charge an extra hour but gone home with full pockets. Sometime things happen. I've moved on many occasions and this is my first bad experience - also my first with this company. The worst part however is having someone handle your possessions and walk through your house for two hours who makes you cringe.
