After months of decision making and GC interviews, we picked Mota Inc to be our GC for rebuilding our home. The main reason was because we feel that we can trust the owners. This was our first time doing any project like this and certainly first time we have to pick a contractor. It was a leap of faith based on us being able to trust them over all other GC we've met. They were knowledgeable in almost all areas needed for the design and the actual constructions which helped keep the cost down without hire too many sub-contractors. Now that the project is 98% complete (just a few small items they have to come back to address), I can testify that they are indeed very honest throughout the long ordeal. I have heard of many horror stories when it comes to construction contracts and processes, I must say that I think our experience was a smooth and uneventful one.
