Living in the downtown core is not easy to get contractors to come into the city. Our access to our yard was through a mutual driveway and then a small pathway to our gate. I have contacted many companies without success. I contacted Proper Construction Inc and Eddie came to assess the property and he listened to our concerns and reviewed our plans. We stated to build the fence behind the shed as the shed acted as a fence in our yard. We told him that we would eventually knock down the shed after his job was completed. Eddie stated why not do it at the same time and then we can have full access to the yard to the build the fence. He also stated that due to access to our yard he would not be able to drill the post holes with the machines but it would have to be done manually. After the visit Eddie stated that he would contact me with the quote. Well, I thought here we ago another contractor who will not get back to us. Well Eddie contacted me same day with the quote. The only thing holding them back from the job was for me to find a company to cut the concrete so that they could install the posts and of course I had no success in finding one but Eddie went out of his way and found us a company. Eddie did not mind the challenge that it would take for him and his crew to complete this job. The project was done in 4 days. His crew was really courteous, friendly, attention to detail, always would ask before installing to make sure that is how we wanted it. They cleaned after each visit. Eddie was present the first day and the following days he would call to follow up and ask how the progress was and if we had any concerns. Eddie you are one of kind who takes pride with the work that you do and provide. We are so happy with our new fence; we finally have our privacy. Overall, I would highly recommend Proper Construction Inc for their professionalism, compassion and commitment to making sure that customers get what they ask for.
