Woke up this morning with an unresponsive furnace. Checked on this site, called this company, and Renato arrive about an hour later. Two hours after that, the broken motor was replaced and the house was warm. Also, Renato helpfully explained the maintenance needs of the attached humidifier, which wasn't broken but needed the filter replaced (I didn't know there even was a filter or that you had to replace that every year, and it had been a long time since we got it). He replaced the filter for free.

We had a problem with gradually decreasing water pressure in the house. We asked if someone would come to diagnose the problem. We were told there would be a price for a service call. We said ok, but just in case the plumber can't find the water pressure problem, then we also have a faucet we need replaced. So we would like the faucet replaced. When he came, the guy said that for the water pressure we should call the city about it. About the faucet, it would involve more work than just unscrewing the old one, so it will cost $700. We declined. So we got absolutely nothing but still had to pay for the call.

We've had a recurring problem (likely due to attached neighbours who won't participate in solving it). We have dealt with several exterminators over the last 7 years. GTA Wildlife and Pest Removal is the best of the bunch for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that we have had the best results with them. The bugs have stayed away longer (we had previously been calling for treatment every six months). The second reason is that the customer service is excellent. Fast and knowledgeable and friendly. We really trust Kevin.

His men were courteous and tidy. We really appreciated that all the trades who came to our house were real professionals. One of the advantages of going with a company like Bravehart is that they have established relationships with all the necessary trades for a big job like a basement underpinning and renovation. They know the right people to work with. The basement is now completely warm, dry, and new, and everything works just right.

We called Ambia based on the recommendations on homestars.ca. Like the other people here, we also found that they provide top-notch customer service and we are also very happy with the windows and the door. The installation was on time and at a very competitive price. We especially liked that we were given all the relevant information at the initial meeting about how to choose the right door and windows for us. We will definitely call Ambia again when it is time to replace other windows.
