I first used them for fence replacement on one side of my backyard 2 years ago. Based on that job, they were the only ones I contacted when the other side needed to be done. They again lived up to my high expectations ... same excellent communication from start to finish by owner Jay and his crew lead Daniel, they showed up when they said they would, took care not to damage the plantings in the garden, did great quality work, and cleaned up properly. What more can you ask for?

Jay was very responsive and easy to deal with. We were worried about all kinds of perennials and roses we have right up against the fence possibly being stomped on. We didn't need to worry, as the crew was extremely careful and there wasn't even the slightest damage. Most importantly, they did great quality work too. Great experience all around. Professional and pleasant sales / estimating staff (Faisal and Ben), and an excellent and friendly install crew... Del, Jay, and Keith. From chatting with them I pieced together that they have over 90 years of carpet installation experience combined. It showed in the way they worked together, and in the quality of the result. Highly recommended.

My in-laws house is being prepared to sell, and when we ripped out the green carpeting in the main living areas, we discovered hardwood (oak?) that was basically solid, but very unevenly stained by unknown elements. I researched on HomeStars (as I always do for major contracted projects) and decided on NewRidge. Matt was assigned to our job, and was very easy to work with. He explained the process in detail and made cost-saving suggestions also. He made the floors truly look new, without even a need to stain them. The cost of the project was very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

Reliable service at a reasonable cost. Too bad they can't use 'good' chemicals any more against weeds, as I did find myself pulling weeds out occasionally through the summer. I was negligent with watering, so at the end of this hot/dry summer, my lawn didn't look much better than my neighbor's (who has no lawn service and does absolutely nothing). But with the recent rains, my lawn has recovered nicely, while the neighbor's still looks like crap. I believe the Hometurf treatments are responsible for the difference, and have renewed with them for another year.

Not the perfect experience I expected based on the glowing reviews here. 1. Cleanup was poor. All kinds of loose asphalt left on our front walkway and garage floor. Seems the crew was in a hurry, as they told my wife they had 6 paving jobs to get done that day. They had a lot of heavy equipment, but were at my house for a total of 2 hours (includes removing existing asphalt). 2. No tape or rope put across the bottom of the driveway. This one is almost unbelievable. Instead, they took a green bin and a broom from my garage and put that in the middle of the bottom of the driveway. Then they said keep cars off the driveway for several days of course (ummm.,.. we need to use our green bin). 3. The surface is very rough and coarse in spots. See attached photo. I do give them credit for coming out when I voiced my concerns to them. The sales rep apologized for the poor cleanup, and the lack of tape/rope to finish the job properly (he showed me he had some in his car). He basically explained away my concern re the uneven/ coarse surface of driveway by talking in detail about the process that is used, and suggesting that if I am really unhappy with the look, I can apply airport - grade sealer in the spring. Based on my overall experience I can only give them 6 out of 10. Frank

The wood siding at the front of my almost 30 year old house was in rough shape. and Peter's crew did an amazing job to restore it to like new condition. Very thorough in all areas... prep work, cleanup, follow-up, etc. Highly recommended. Frank

Outstanding work on what I thought was an impossible to match colour and finish. Our dining room table and one of the chairs had almost 20 years of serious sun damage in places (the chair had cat claw damage too). When we got the furniture back, I asked how it went, and John confessed that his crew had to strip and refinish it 3 times to get it perfect. He clearly has high standards of quality. I can't tell which of the chairs was the one redone, as it's a perfect match. We are 110% satisfied with the work, and John was professional and a pleasure to deal with. We have already signed him up for another refinishing job. Frank
