I recently purchased a condo unit from Battistella, in the "Nude" condo building. I had a guaranteed rental agreement with the developer which made them my tenant and they would then sub-let it for 12 months. After my first month, Battistella was not able to rent out my unit so they decided to go into my unit and install blinds, then proceeded to charge me for it. They did not give me notice or request permission to enter my property. Then they proceeded to charge me for blinds without notice or my consent and automatically deduct it from my rent cheque. It is not the $100 that frustrates me, it is the lack of care at the company that they violated a contract and the lack of response from my complaint. They refuse to give me my money back and are no longer answering me emails. Zach is very sarcastic with his responses. The quality of the condo build is good but, as I work in development, it is not hard to get results from trades. I would never recommend this developer to anyone due to their lack of professionalism and care when it comes to customer complaints.
