We completed a major deck build with Ata and his team at Blue Pine Construction. They were a delight to deal with from the quote phase to producing renderings of what the deck could look like based on our ideas. The rendering really gave us a clear idea of the potential of what it could look like and made them stand-out from other contractors who quoted. Ata was great to deal with and listened at all times to what we wanted even though we made some changes as we went along. The job involved the demolition of the existing deck (approx. 300 sq.ft), the excavation of the ground to make space for the lower deck, the drilling and pouring of 16 concrete posts, the construction of the new frame, the decking of the upper and lower decks, fencing and even a dog pen. Also there was extensive landscaping required. The result is a huge 600 sq.ft deck which is just stunning! To make this more complex, Ata coordinated an electrician to put a power outlet on the deck, wire 27 LED lights, and change 2 external outlets to the latest GFI-type. He also coordinated a gas fitter to install a gas line for a natural gas fire table and get this hooked-up. We went for frameless glass all around the deck. Ata again had a fantastic contractor for the glass paneling who did an outstanding job. Despite numerous delays for bad weather and other delays outside Ata's control, he was determined to finish the deck to the highest possible standard. He also gave warranty with his work and will come back to rectify any issues. What more could you ask for! Highly recommended. Ata and his whole team are really hard working and gave us the deck of our dreams!
