I recently encouraged my mother to call Bosca Electric to update the electrical work in her house based on Behrid's work at my place. For four days, I was on site to watch Behrid in action - what a hard worker! The quote was reasonable, and the level of professionalism and job done was fantastic. When stumbling blocks were encountered, Behrid stopped to take the time to discuss them with me (so I could convey them to my mother) and to find workable solutions. In the end, all the light fixtures in the house were updated, and all the outlets as well! Now she can plug in her slowcooker with confidence! :)

Last year, Tony did such a great job on my windows that I had to call him back this year to look after my screen doors. In both the front and back of the house, Tony did a beautiful job - the installation is perfect, the doors open and close beautifully and I am thoroughly delighted by the finished product. I have no hesitation when it comes to recommending Tony - he is honest, professional and a pleasure to do business with!

When you wake up one morning and see shingles littering your back lawn, you get a bit nervous. After calling a couple of roofers, most turned me down, either citing that a repair was too small a job or that they were so backlogged with other work they couldn't possibly come out to investigate the issue. When I telephoned RoofRepairs.ca, Kim, the office assistant, was incredible! She agreed that the shingles were worrisome and told me all about Brad's approach and pricing up-front for any work done on the spot -- she even managed to squeeze me into his tight schedule that day! When Brad arrived, he was up on my roof in no time flat and came down with pictures of both my roof and my neighbour's (the latter was the one shedding the shingles). Brad also went over a lot of the details about the type of shingles on my roof, the state that they were in and the life expectancy they had. (And contrary to the previous roofer who said I had about two years, Brad said it was more like five! What a relief!!) Brad was honest, professional and trustworthy -- he will definitely be my first call for any repairs or work I need done on my roof in the future, and I will be passing his name along to family and friends!! Behrid is amazing! I would never hesitate to call him again or to recommend him to friends and family. After having purchased my first home this summer, I made the rather unfortunate discovery that I had knob and tube wiring throughout; this required a complete rewire of my home before I could get insurance coverage. Out of all the electricians who came to quote me, Behrid was the most thorough, going room by room, explaining to me what was required to bring the place up to code, and showing me various things associated with the state of the current electrical. Rewiring my house was no easy feat! Nevertheless, Behrid worked tirelessly, coming on weekends, and staying long hours to get the entire place finished. He took care of all the scheduling for me -- arranging the inspection with the ESA and contacting Toronto Hydro to provide my new 100-amp service. His work was impeccable and he consistently exceeded expectations. Thank you, Behrid! I am beyond delighted with the work!

What can I say but exceptional service! Without question, Capps Duct Cleaning is prompt, professional, reliable and trustworthy. If I could give Tony a 20 out of 10, I would! I am beyond delighted with the quality of workmanship I received on my new windows and doors. The nearly 100-year-old home I purchased earlier this summer needed a lot of work and with it came no shortage of surprises, the windows notwithstanding. When Tony took apart the old windows, he found that some of the frames had been rotted through from years of water and carpenter ant damage. Tony and his partner Ahmed were able to use some leftover wood from my previous reno work to build me two new window frames in my bedrooms. This was over and above what needed to be done, and I couldn't be happier with the finished product. All of the windows were meticulously installed, the outsides perfectly finished and even the front door, which was tricky because of the stone facade done by the previous owners, was seamlessly completed. The front door appears as though it had been installed prior to the stonework! I cannot say enough good things about Tony and the work done at my house. From the installation to the insulation to the finishing, Tony goes the extra mile. It's a shame more people weren't like him. If you're looking to have new doors and windows put in, do not look to anyone other than Albivision because the competitive pricing and impeccable workmanship can't be beat! Thank you, Tony, I am so thrilled with the finished product!!!

I can't say enough glowing things about Aetna, from the initial calls to the inspections to the eventual treatments. Having always lived in the west end of Toronto, I was definitely in for a rude awakening buying a home in East York that had never been inspected or treated for termites. In fact, I had no idea what to be looking for and what the signs were. While in the process of gutting the house, I discovered that my kitchen, master bedroom and back addition had been a veritable buffet for both carpenter ants and termites. The team at Aetna (Dick, Liz, Marie, Al, Suli) are amazing! First off, Liz and Marie are the best two points of contact whenever calling Aetna -- they're kind, knowledgeable and flexible. In the process of my renovations, they managed to schedule all my treatments around what my contractor's crew was doing, and even accommodated some very short notice requests. I appreciated that I could schedule my termite treatment in stages that accommodated what work was being done on my house at any given time. The crew that Aetna sent out -- Rob and Suli (termites) and Al (carpenter ants) -- were phenomenal. Suli, in particular, is an impressive young man. When I arrived home to find him and Rob already at work in my basement, he took the time to explain the treatment process to me, the kinds of chemicals that were being used, and what to watch out for to minimize the potential for return pest offenders. We walked around the perimeter of the house together, noting where wood-to-soil contact had to be broken, and what else to watch out for. Suli is extremely knowledgeable and obviously takes great pride in his work. He and Rob were kind and courteous. Though nobody is ever thrilled to find their home a hotbed of unwanted insect invaders, I'm confident that I got the Cadillac of treatment with Aetna and appreciate their impeccable customer service. Uwe and Blair came recommended by my contractor to do some ductwork -- specifically, to decommission a couple of old runs and put in some new ductwork throughout my home. Uwe was tremendous! He and Blair worked quickly, efficiently and checked in with me about where I wanted things placed, while explaining to me the best possible positioning for all my heating and cooling needs. I would highly recommend them to family and friends!

Having undertaken the renovation of my new home and gotten way more surprises than I bargained for, I finally had the opportunity to see into a previously inaccessible attic when the ceilings came down on the upstairs level. I noticed some nails protruding from the roof and holes that appeared to be patched with what I thought were shingles (the patching was black and had a slight sheen). Before I went any further with the reno, I wanted to have someone check out my roof -- after all, why put in all this work only to suffer water damage? Given the fact I thought I didn't have plywood in these "shingled areas," Robert came out the same day and inspected the the attic area. He told me that whoever did the roof previously did a really poor job of patching the holes, but it was actually a thin metal cover I was seeing underneath the shingles, not the shingles themselves. Robert also went up on my roof to inspect it and took some photos to show me. Apparently, my roof has a couple of good years still left in it, but when it's time to redo it, I won't be calling anyone else except The Cutting Edge Roofing. Robert is pleasant, honest and extremely thorough. Robert -- Thanks for putting my mind at ease as I finish up my renovation!

Bill and his crew were phenomenal! They were punctual, kind and courteous. I recently purchased a new home and all the downspouts were below-grade and the eavestroughs were in dire need of updating. The crew worked quickly, efficiently and neatly. They even managed to nestle the new downspout in the mortar from a previous flagstone job that was absolutely seamless! I am so thrilled by the results! My house looks so much better and I won't hesitate to recommend Bill to my friends and family!!
