We have an older home and had the basement dug out last year to create more headroom. When we finally decided to renovate the space we spoke with several contractors about the scope of work and what we wanted to do and Mike clearly seemed the most knowledgeable, responsive, and gave us a good feeling straight away. He explained the full end-to-end process and what to expect and drew out timelines and everything fell into place as planned. There were some changes we made along the way (which was probably a bit of a pain for Mike) but he took it in stride and worked with us on ensuring we were happy. His team (Aldo, Marco, Paul, etc.) were all fantastic to work with as well and we felt equally as comfortable working with all of them as we did with Mike. Renovations can be messy but the disturbance was minimal. Even with new drywall and all the sanding there was very little dust. I would highly recommend Mike to family and friends and would be happy to serve as a reference.

We had quotes from every major underpinning company in Toronto while my wife was on maternity leave (she had the time to meet them all, so why not). John's quote was very reasonable in comparison to the others. But more importantly, John seemed the most personable, listened to our concerns, communicated throughout the process and provided solid feedback based on his experience. This is why we ultimately went ahead with Maximum. And we're EXTREMELY happy we did. Before we began, John set the appropriate expectations for a job like this - budget, timing, duration of work, future floor layout, plumbing considerations, etc. And he lived up to all of them. His crew (who are a great group of guys) started right on time, they coordinated building permits, bins, inspections, and cleanup. From our end, John took care of it all and came in on time and on budget. There were a few add-ons we decided to move forward with along the way but John's quotes were all reasonable. It's a messy job but every day they cleaned up the dirt and swept and hosed our driveway. Even our neighbours (with whom we share the driveway) were very impressed and commented on the minimal disturbance. I highly recommend John and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to provide a reference and comment on our experience.

Joe was recommended to me by a friend who had used him in the past. So after the last big wind and rain storm, when our huge maple tree snapped and was hanging dangerously over the fence between my yard and my neighbours, I called Joe. He responded to my call promptly and advised that he was a bit backlogged due to the storm but would come by the next day to take a look and quote on the work. Joe's quote was very reasonable and work started a few days later. And despite the enormity of the tree, Joe was very careful and able to remove the tree and mitigate any falling branches which surely would have destroyed the fence and cost me much more the replace. Joe removed the entire tree down to the smallest stump, removed and chipped all the debris and cleaned up after himself. He even made some comments about other trees on my property and what to keep an eye on in the future. I wouldn't hesitate to call upon Heritage Tree Care in the future and recommend Joe and his crew.

Nedd and his crew did a FANTASTIC job re-wiring my entire house to replace the old knob and tube wiring. Nedd worked collaboratively with me and my wife and made suggestions and recommendations that I'm thankful for now. His experience was critical in providing guidance in areas we never would have thought of. Nedd's quote was precise and he came in right on budget. His crew was also great in their prep work (covering all the hardwood floors) and their cleanup. I would highly recommend Tesla Electric.

As terrible as it is to have your sewer back up into your basement, DrainWorks made the experience about as good as it could be given the awful situation. Mike and his team were there on time for the assesment, allowed me to view all the camera work inside the drain, explained everthing thoroughly, and provided a quote before continuing any work. The following day they arrived on time and worked at an unbelievable pace to get the job done quickly with minimal distubance despite having just had a huge hole in my front yard only hours before. All work done inside the house was also done quickly with almost no noticeable disturbance. I would highly recommend DrainWorks.
