I went to Billa to purchase new appliances for my house. Their prices can’t be beat, and they have a good selection. I like that they do not pressure you to buy, and they take the time to answer questions. I did have some problems with three of my appliances and had to call the manufacturer to take a look at them, but from what I was told by the service people who came out, it was just bad luck. From what the service technicians told me (who are not connected to Billa), Billa does not sell any refurbished appliances. Despite some hiccups, I would go back to them again. I know I’ll get the best price and good service without running around town or waiting for a sale.

I have nothing but great things to say about Around Town Moving. I was not looking forward to moving with two little kids, but I have to say, because of Devonte and his wonderful team (Mike and Jose), my actual move was the one thing that went right. Knowing that the keys to our new place would become available at any time in a four hour window, Devonte came up with a few different plans so that we could save time if the keys were delayed. I admittedly had a LOT of boxes that caused the move to go into overtime, but our great moving team did not even want to take a break for food, so that they could get everything finished quickly. They pretty much worked for 12 hours straight, moving quickly and carefully, barely taking breaks. When unexpected problems arose, they brainstormed different options for us that ended up giving us better solutions than our original plan. What really struck me is that in hour 12 of the move, they were still so friendly and helpful, giving us tips and hints for our furniture and hardwood floors as they moved, and even cracking the occasional joke when we needed the relief. Late at night when my kids were tired and cranky, they happily whispered and tip-toed around (at remarkable speed) with boxes and furniture so that my baby could settle down. They did not just want to finish up, unload our boxes and get out of there. Around the Town movers wanted to ensure that we were happily moved in, and satisfied customers. These guys weren’t just “the movers”. Due to the genuine care that they showed my family and possessions, when it was time for them to leave, I felt like I was saying goodbye to old friends.
