The new window looks great and has already made a huge difference temperature-wise. The installation went smoothly and the installers left the room really clean. Very happy that I chose Welda for the work.

Damian is smart, knowledgeable, and both a good communicator and manager. His team replaced the plaster and lath in our master bedroom with drywall. They also hung new closet doors on an odd-sized closet opening, and managed to get rid of storage that had not been built well under our bay window. They saved the old hardwood floor, which we were very happy about. The room looks great and is much cozier. And when we had problems with the closet doors, Damian was on-top of the problem and even followed up weeks later to be sure all was well. Very happy with the quality of work that he and his team deliver. Will be hiring him for our next reno - the bathroom.

Ben did a very good job of cleaning my reversible white and grey wool rug. He also provided an underlay, which we were sorely in need of. I had to call him a couple of times to arrange both the pick-up and drop-off of my rug. For pick-up, he didn't arrive and when I called to ask where he was, he said he'd left a voice message (which he hadn't) that he'd be by tomorrow. I explained that I wasn't available then and to his credit, he did then come by to get the rug. Then on the day of drop-off, he still hadn't shown two hours after the time we had agreed upon. When I called, he said that his daughter had been sick. I sympathize but I feel he should have been the one calling - not me. The next scheduled time for drop-off went smoothly. His service would benefit from better communication around scheduling since the finished product is good.

Thanks to the reviews on this site, we hired A&A Masonry to do all the brickwork needed on our newly purchased home. We found the sales rep, Brad, to be really personable and great at explaining the work needed. He also gave a detailed quote. The crew who came did excellent work. The two reasons I'm giving a nine rather than a ten are concerning scheduling and clean-up. I had initially spoken to Andy who said he'd be back in touch around scheduling. A couple of days later he called me at 7 p.m. one evening, saying the crew would be at our house the next morning. ?! It was too short-notice and we finally agreed on the day after. As for cleanup, the crew knew we were getting our patio stones re-laid and I was fine with them not doing a thorough clean of the patio. They also had to avoid some areas that they had parged. But the areas they could have cleaned up, were left quite dusty, with mortar debris. However, overall, I would still recommend A&A Masonry.
