After searching for a locksmith I came across the TAOL. Locksmiths aren't regulated by the govt. Anyone can say they are a locksmith and say they are bonded. I found Pre-Lock listed on the TAOL website and called them. Brian was very helpful and informative. With him, I was able to find the best solution for our situation. He spoke to me at length about different solutions. The installer was excellent and also informed. I recommend Pre-Lock.

Yes Rick in Ontario there is no current licensing requirements which means anyone can claim to be a locksmith. Fortunately we have Homestars for consumers to turn to as a consumer review process which will assist home owners in finding a reputable security provider.
