If we had only had the help of a site like this perhaps we wouldn't have made such an error in judgement when building our first home with Ashton. There were terrible to deal with from the beginning. The customer service was amongst the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life which I found ironic since it was the largest purchase of our lives. Our closing date was disasterous to say the least. The problems continued after we moved in when we discovered that there was no insulation installed in the second floor of our house. We also had leaks from the second floor into our livingroom. When trying to reach the head builder, we were told continuously that our messages were getting to him and that he would be in touch. He never returned a single call or addressed a single concern. I would never recommend this company unfortunately and nor would anyone on our street that we have talked to. We love our house (now that everything is fixed) but the hassles have been unending. We've heard that they are starting to build in Fort Erie and Welland. Buyers beware and really really do your research on them. Get everything in writing no matter how ridiculous it may seem because they change their tune all of the time.
