My air conditioning unit was not keeping up with the July heat and now we saw some condensation around our furnace. At 5:30 pm on a Friday, I called QuickFast. I spoke directly to the owner who told me who could come and take a look in about an hour and a half. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. David came on time, did a thorough assessment. He was friendly, personable and clearly understood what had to be done. He talked us through short- and long-term solutions. The next day was the hottest of the year, but our home was so cool that my wife made soup for dinner. Our only regret was that we didn't call QuickFast sooner. We called another firm six days before, but no one returned our call. A different firm told us they would contact their "service department" and call us back "shortly." QuickFast is a small firm, so we didn't have to wait for some service department... I'm sure there may be some nights when David is not able to make service calls, but today we are one grateful family with a sleeping baby who would have been miserable in the heat.
