Matt was excellent! He was quick to respond to every question, finished his work in a timely manner, and helped advise us where to best run the new duct work. On top of the duct work, he replaced some shoddy looking gas lines with new ones, vented in preparation for our next furnace upgrade as well. His communication skills are really great, which was a comfort to us as we often feel out of the loop when dealing with unfamiliar territory like house repairs. Mike at KH Davis was great. Friendly and punctual from the start, they came quickly to take measurements and helped make recommendations for changes to optimize the structure of our house as well as do drawings to bring an old staircase up to code. He gave us an approximate completion time that included the length of time to recieve the permit from the city (they submitted this for us at an extra but nominal fee). His approximation was bang on. Highly recommend! Thanks for everything.

Steve Balshin was a great home inspector. Hired through word of mouth, we got him to inspect a home we were thinking of purchasing. He was extremely thorough, and didn't hesitate to point out anything strange he saw. We ended up passing on the house due to many faults he found, and because of that, when we purchased our second home and hired him for an inspection on that one, he even gave us a discount on his services! He takes his time in every room, and writes down everything he sees. At the end he does a run through of all the rooms with you, explaining the things he saw, and his estimates on what he thinks it will cost to fix the things that need fixing. You will never see this man hiding information to benefit anyone. He's straightforward and very truthful - almost to the point where it's scary! hahah. But he will never try to sway you into buying a shabby home. Definitely recommend Steve!

This company is great! After seeing them on CBC talking about their care in the well being of animals during their removal, I definitely wanted to hire them when I was told by my neighbour that they saw a raccoon scurrying down my chimney. I called one afternoon, and made an appointment for a few days away. But, they ended up having an opening the very next day so came and took care of the problem immediately. Luckily the raccoon was already gone and out from the chimney, leaving them only to have to put a cover on the top, and also cover up the neighbours as well, as it is a row house and the old chimneys are attached. They did this quickly and efficiently, and for a much lower price than I expected. Would definitely call these guys again if I find any more furry critters infiltrating our roof!
