We hired Wayne based on his HomeStars reviews to repour our garage floor which was cracked and sunken. He removed the old floor, put in a proper base and rebar support and poured a new slab with a perfect slope to fix the drainage issue. A year later he came back just to check that everything was ok. The floor is perfect - still looks brand new. Wayne is very pleasant to deal with, has reasonable pricing, and takes a lot of pride in his work - highly recommended for any concrete work.

We hired Krys a few years ago to finish the basement in our last house, and he did such an amazing job that when we moved and needed to do a full house renovation we did not hesitate to hire Krys again. We were not disappointed! This was an extremely big project, the house was completely gutted and renovated with a master bedroom addition and included all new plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Whether it is his own crew or his sub-contractors, Krys only brings in the very best professionals in every trade. Despite its complexity our project was completed on time and on budget, just as Krys promised. Krys is very personable, responsive and professional and any issues were always handled quickly and appropriately. He really cares about the quality of his work and it shows. We are ecstatic with how our renovation turned out - I can't recommend Krys Construction highly enough! Thank you Krys!!!

Update: the company contacted me to address the pricing issue outlined below and they have now resolved it to my satisfaction. I have increased the rating based on them making it right. I suggest you understand their pricing structure before they come out. Thanks for making it right, Express Rooter. As I said below, their quality and professionalism is excellent, my only issue was with pricing. Original review follows: I decided to go with this company based on what I've seen on Holmes on Homes. Big mistake. I needed a couple shut-off valves replaced urgently. The plumber called on the way over to let me know the diagnostic would cost $150 but it would be waived if we used them for the service. The plumber quoted me $700 to replace both. Having done similar work before I know that the parts required cost $15 maximum. It took the plumber about half an hour to do it. I only proceeded with them because I needed the work done urgently and I had already lost the $150 for the diagnostic. Although the work was well done, the pricing was insanely high. Do not use this company.

We hired Chris to frame our basement based on his reviews on Homestars. Chris and his crew were very timely, trustworthy, professional and courteous. His workmanship is incredibly good - you can tell he takes a lot of pride in it and he's not happy until everything is done right! After the framing was complete, we were so happy with result and with the experience we asked him to finish the rest of the basement. He did a fantastic job of the rest of the basement too. Every sub-contractor he brought in was meticulous and incredibly skilled, including his dad who did the trim, doors, etc. Our basement turned out exactly the way we wanted and we have been getting lots of compliments from everyone who sees it! Couldn't be happier with the job that Chris did in our basement! We were so impressed that we've now hired him to replace our deck too! Thanks Chris - an absolute pleasure working with you - what an amazing result!

We hired Platinum Pro Painters to paint our upstairs hallway and master bedroom. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the painting. The cost was reasonable and the painters were punctual, professional, covered everything very well. They really took the time to ensure the job was done properly. At the end of the job everything was nicely cleaned up. I won't hesitate to call them again for future work.
