I've had Green Coast Rubbish come to remove piles of rotting wooden retaining wall annually for the last 3 years as I worked through the sections around my house. Each time, they were easy to schedule and showed up when they said they would. The team has always been friendly and efficient at loading the truck. Mike was very helpful from the first phone call and each site visit with advice and no sales pressure – that and the professionalism he demonstrated convinced us to choose BOC. His team (Ron, Evan, and Dean) were straightforward and hardworking – they were there when they said they would be, got the work done smartly and cleaned up each day. When the job was done (on budget and on schedule) the finished work blended in perfectly.

We hired ProRise (after talking to a number of painting contractors) to power-wash and paint the fascia of our hidden gutters and our garage doors. Joseph was very available for discussions about the work and responsive to questions about the contract. Joseph's obvious knowledge in paint and customer-oriented attitude made it a comfortable choice to hire ProRise. The care taken by the team (Joel, Paulo, Jordan and Felix) and their attention to detail was much appreciated. The finished work made the house look great.

This past summer we took the plunge to convert our cedar roof to asphalt shingles. We considered over a dozen companies, invited 6 of those to provide a quote, short-listed to 3 for contract terms discussions, and finalized on Tristan and his company Up & Up Roofing. We felt we got a good deal considering the mix of materials involved and the square footage of our roof. The pricing between the three vendors on our shortlist was very similar though there was some variation in materials (Tristan’s mix was the best overall value we thought).
