Professional is an overused word, especially as a claim by contractors that dont necessarily live-up to everything the word means.  Professional means for a building contractor, first and foremost, building something that meets a standard of excellence.  It also means doing so efficiently and neatly and in a manner that respects the customers existing land and structures and doing all of these things within the promised cost and time to project completion.  It is only if you share this meaning of professional that you will understand this review of Decks for Life. Decks for Life were ultimate professionals.  Quite frankly, we were blown away by the excellence of the deck built for us, with the way it was built in exactly the time we were promised (without our even asking for such a promise), exactly on budget, and with a presence that was more a pleasure than an inconvenienceeven though they had to go back and forth through our townhouse to build our deck. None of this yet mentions the time they took in the design stage to understand exactly what we needed and wanted and how they made sure the final design met those needs and wants. My only regret is that I dont have anything else for Decks for Life to build.

We had another perfect experience with Five Star this morning doing our annual rug and upholstery spring-cleaning. Always amazed by how clean they get everything and how neatly and efficiently they work. It’s also nice to deal with people who are so obviously proud of their work and value you as a customer. It’s easy to recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

I was more than a little skeptical when my wife recommended 'Mr. Rescue' based on his 'Home Stars' review for two or three dozen different home repairs we needed done. Who could be that good? But over the years a list of broken and damaged items and areas had accumulated inside the house that demanded everything from painting to plumbing and caulking to cabinet repair and from remountings to reinstallations and I was growing a little desperate. The range of skills and talents and ingenuity required to fix everything was incredible as, it turned out, were Charlie and his workmate, Benny. There was, literally, nothing they could not do, and they did everything quickly, cleanly, perfectly, with friendliness and quiet confidence, and at a fair price. They treated the house with the same pride we have in it. The experience was like one of those movies about the 'fifties and a time of consciousness that you think now was all made-up. My only hesitancy in writing this recommendation is that it could delay when we'll be able to get 'Mr. Rescue' back to do what needs to be done to the outside of the house! I honestly cannot find anything to criticize about the experience and I would be happy to detail it further to anyone Charlie wants to offer my number.
