Maple Leaf Mold - review Mold removal in attic… 10 / 10 -a very well run local (west end Toronto) company -the owner, Robert came to assess the job, and was present for the duration of the work. -Robert is an exceptionally nice, honest, down-to-earth man -we called them one day, they came to take a look the next day. Started and completed the job the next day (a Saturday!) -extremely clean, thorough and safe -clearly explained every step of the process -really like the fact their truck is anonymous so curious neighbours don’t know what’s going on -and they left our house very, very clean

Job was done fall 2017. This was my THIRD time using Goldwood. I had a great experience the first 2x. This time a subcontractor was used, and service and quality went downhill. Newly installed baseboards were marked up, caulking had gaps. Torn up old hardwood floor was strewn across front lawn, until I complained to owner Markie. The old crew treated their work like gold and were careful. . Subcontractors didn't care. Minor chips on new floor after installations. Would never use again.

Excellent quality, and great customer service. We have two sets of wall-to-wall custom-sized mirror closet doors installed. Joseph was able to squeeze us in earlier to meet our timeline for selling. The installers were very professional, polite, and friendly. Final price was not cheap but you get what you paid for.

Anton and his crew just left hours ago. Yes, only hours, and I have never felt so compelled to write a review about any product or service I've had in my 14 years as a homeowner. Perfection. Professional, polite, and clean crew. Very reasonable $. Will definitely use again. I submitted a request last Sunday through Homestars to 10 moulding companies. Only two companies replied. One said it was booked till July. The other was 5 Stars! Irena from 5 Stars replied to me same day. Anton came on Thursday and job is done beautifully today on Friday by 5 pm!!! This is a company that wants your business, and put customers first, and does quality work. We have one difficult corner, see attached, that a few "contractors" had looked at and had either no clue, or quoted me way more $$. Anton didn't blink twice and said no problem. He also gave suggestions to enhance the wow factor of the house (I'm selling). I'm thoroughly impressed, after having dealt with more than a few dishonest handymen and reno companies. Don't even consider other companies. To other companies that didn't bother replying, this is what HomeStars is meant for. Answer your emails, call your prospects, show up on time and do a good job, and future business will come to your door.

Had the Goldwood guys over at end of November for replacing carpet everywhere in the house, complete with two new set of stairs from top to bottom. Very, very happy with every aspect of the project, from pricing, to quality, and service. These guys are experts and took out complete sets of stairs AND rebuilt them in a matter of 4 days. I had been quoted for much longer time and $$ by other vendors, and we went to 3 others before choosing Goldwood. They spoke limited English, but were friendly and polite. Swept up when they were done. The quality was extremely professional. There were spots that I wouldn't have noticed the details such as inside closets, but these guys made sure every inch was done right. Initially only planned to do major rooms in the house, but ended up replacing the tile in the foyer as well, for very reasonable price. Have had other contractors in the house doing other types of work before, and Goldwood is by far the most pleasant experience. Goldwood is definitely a hidden gem in the city.
