I've been meaning to write this review since I don't want others to have the experience I had with Alif. I, like others had hired him based on the reviews on this website, and his charismatic personality. Initially he asked for half of the money upfront, which I thought was odd, but complied. Big mistake. after receiving the lump sum, suddenly there was no urgency to actually get the work done. I was in need of a basement rough in, and it took over 3 months to just get it to a state where the rough in was complete. I found the work to be sloppy and rushed ( which is ironic for how long it took ). usually he would book one day with me, leave at lunch for hours, then return until 4, and then book me again for the following week rather than just booking off time for that one week to complete the job. Sloppy work examples: Venting was taken across the centre of my kitchen ceiling therefore making the head-height lower than necessary, rather than simply running around the edge of the wall. ( to his credit, he fixed this after I showed concern). Hardware for the tub was just installed without even showing me what it was. ( and I work from home, so there was no excuse for this) I had already purchased the faucet and now I'm stuck with a cheap chrome drain, while the faucet I purchased was brushed nickel. the concrete was dug up, but he still placed the drain in the kitchen in the floor rather than in the wall. Now I have to cut holes into my cabinets when this could have been avoided. The list goes on. I just found the whole experience quite horrible, to the point where I paid all that I owed to him, and found a new plumber to take over the finishing of the job ( urban piping who have been just amazing btw ). On top of the sloppy work, he talked poorly about his employees to me, would disappear and reappear at varied times, without ever really letting me know when he was returning. Sometimes when he returned, he came with garbage from the noon jobs and then would throw away the old pipes/garbage into my rented dumpster. I think I missed the memo on how that would be ok with me. He would also talk very unprofessionally about my job. " oh right...that stupid thing" when referring to the laundry hook up on the main floor. I know this is a very long review, but I wanted people to understand why I rated them so poorly. Hopefully my comments will help Perfection plumbing in giving a bit better customer service in the future. His company has alot of great reviews, I just wish that was my experience.

I recently hired Paul to re-wire my basement suite, including adding in a new panel for upstairs. I had previously hired him to re-wire my old 1928 home 2 years ago, and he did such a great job, it was a given that I would contact him again about the basement work. Paul and Dan are both very professional, always on time, and very communicative. Nothing worse than not knowing what your trade has planned...or when they are going to show up etc... He always kept me in the loop, does great work, and has a fabulous accent to boot! :) His attention to detail is amazing, and left my basement as clean as when he started. I would highly reccomend Paul for any home electrical work. Thanks again Paul!

Custom cutting and Coring did a great job on the concrete cutting for my basement windows. They were pleasant to deal with were efficient with the time they spent. In and out within a day. I was grateful to hire such great guys for a tough heavy job. Thanks again!

Sean and his team were professional, on time, and on budget. The windows look amazing, and I was comfortable having his team working in my house. Chris and his crew were very professional, and I would highly recommend them to friends and family that are in need of commercial painting. They came in on time and on budget. Everyday they did a great clean up so they were ready to proceed the following day. My older home (1928) went from blah to yeah! and I have Elite Trade Painting to thank for the transformation. I found the service men to be friendly and courteous, and I was very happy with the job they did at my house. It was an old house, that I recently purchased that I think may have never had a cleaning. For a dirty job, they still kept a smile on their face. I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

I recently purchased a home where I needed to upgrade my plumbing and electrical. I decided to go with Pete the Plumber due to the size of the company in knowing that they would be around if something were to go wrong. I had my hot water tank replaced, as well as my humidifier. two sinks were re-located, a tub replaced...pretty much a complete overhaul of the main upper floor. There were some issues with the original plumbrt they sent to do the rough-in, but I found that they were quick to remedy the problem by sending me one of their best guys to finish off the job, and in the end I am very happy with the end result. I will still hire them to complete my basement when the time is right.

I found him to be knowledgeable, hardworking, punctual and detail orientated, and according to my friend's 16 year old son who was helping me with my demolition..." Paul is really funny and cool. " ;) I am very fortunate to have found an electrician in Calgary that not only stuck to his estimate, but also his timeline with no hiccups. I feel very safe in my home knowing that the electrical work is now sound. I would highly recommend Panel Upgrade Experts to my friends and Family. Thanks again Paul for all of your hard work!
