Installed grout where tub meets tile should be silicone.Paid new company with credentials to remove cracked grout, etc. I have bills from all qualified reputable contractors who did repairs. Renocons electrician could not do my LED correctly hired a different company done seamlessly. Gaps in baseboards . Leak from new faucet installed incorrectly sink in new vanity - parts missing paid for new faucets now cannot use new sink-linear drain install incomplete causing sewer smells from new linear drain without gaps covered. Sent installer back to do missing step that was necessary important part of installation. Shower doors measured incorrectly uneven & the sub contractor who did it now closed under a different name. Installed wrong quartz , ripped out redone. Demolition Started without content protection stated in contract. Dirty water mixed with white paste dribbled from them into unit below me. Screws on sides of new toilets crooked. Cannot adjust as risk possibility of crack per other companies. Hire company that is certified with BC Homebuilders Association, Vancouver Homebuilders Assn. Renomark, National Kitchen & Bath. Renocon is none of these & not BBB member. I have dated receipts from all professionals who had to be hired to repair errors to prevent further problems. cannot adjust or risk cracking new toilets. Where did my 12.lb dumbell disappear while I was not living there. Installed cracked grout around new tub where tile meets tub this is never to be done any professional would know should be silicone.Paid over 1000 for other professional company to remove their mess and fix as good as could be. Sloppy lippage under shower wall niches. Charged me same $ for 2 small bathrooms as a wealthy client 3 bathrooms with more sinks. How do you justify that? It is on Houzz. Look at photo left me with unusable sink. No lift rod it came with that I paid for it where are my parts. Not disclosure. Every week find new errors or problems, still waiting for reply re:my sink. Now they say I waived 1 year warranty another false statement I specifically said per another professional contractor who saw with me send email the results to email this does not NOT release you from your warranty obligations. Obligated to 1 year warranty and workmanship Hire a professional from Canadian Home builders Association, Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association, Renomark, & the National Kitchen & Bath Association. I wish I had done that. instead daily problems from being duped by their leased showroom. They collect payments ahead of time so why justice.gov.bc.ca for breach of contract & construction defencies. Have bill from new electrician company to correct timed LED lighting R could not, was in my contract but they could not do it except they did promptly return to replace defective dimmer but that was ONLY defective product. Problems with their work but blame it on a product is defective. Heated flooring barely passed test guidelines. Could have been done safer. That is what guidelines instructions are to follow. Painting unprofessional, messy drip marks on new hardwood floors that should never be there. No drop coverings protections. Told could not install robe hook (would take 5 min. )As he didnt have drill with me no drill required, since paid someone else to install what was in my contract. Put me at risk for water backup when removing toilet as they did not cap it off. Designers missed electrical separate light switch for accent light instruction, I had to spend time finding new Qualified contractors go find door jams stoppers he tossed mine out. They installed the wrong quartz had to be ripped out & installed what I ordered & paid for. So much for coordinator designer project manager zero attention to my small reno. that took too long to complete & now problems result from it. Showercurb slope installed incorrectly drenched new bathroom floors had to be removed and redone. Months later now have an unusable sink cannot drain it with part missing that I paid for. Why did I have to pay for plumber to check for clogged drain to identify if that was drain smell ?never in my life have Had this ; the cause was due to Renocon incomplete installation of seal my linear drain. Confirmed by other professionals. So much corrections to be done, the list increases daily. Other previous clients confirmed their owner intimidates & gives false information to prevent honest reviews. Everything I am saying in this review can prove with photos & bills. After daily smell from their reno mistake I hired mold report how do I know what they have done? Where is my missing dumbell that was here before I moved out? If only I had known to get recommendation from Canadian Home Builders Association promises. Disconnected fireplace when not needed no notification not in contract so no heat when I moved back in cold December. My hardwood floors installed by another company never disconnected my fireplace.

Andrew is exceptional expert- from my microwave that was not working to power outlets etc. these are the electrical experts. A friend was impressed with the audio and video work they did in her condo.They do residential and commercial, media rooms and home theaters, telephone, cable and network systems (Structured Wiring)The quality, price, punctuality,expert knowledge all there, and Andrew did not try to oversell or overprice anything as a competitor did on a previous estimate in my home. I will continue to recommend and use them in future.

When I purchased my condo I had inspection of my fireplace- they did thorough job removing previous owner's kids crayons, cleaned glass, checked to see if any parts needed changing etc. $ 125 plus GST for service calls. Two years later I had estimate to change my fireplace to smaller size, appreciated Gord's honesty re: limitations of my existing fireplace setup and prices. Removing my fireplace and installing a new one was over my budget butt now I know my options and what is required to do this in future.

I was very impressed with the tremendous assistance and knowledge I received from Caylee Scott, interior decorator at Bayside Furniture.I scheduled a design consultation with Caylee and she helped me with space planning, measuring,and selecting fabrics. SHe helped me see the scale and proportions needed for my new bedroom furniture and ensured it would fit into my bedroom by creating a floor plan. She listened to my specific needs and showed me how I would be able to keep and use existing pieces of furniture in my living room. My new 4 bedroom pieces are all made in Canada or Italy, and Caylee found the perfect fabric for my custom headboard that will match my curtains and duvet. I really appreciate the strong customer focus Caylee has provided to me and I cannot wait for my new bedroom furniture to be delivered. Cost above is for bed with custom headboard.

Had custom drapes installed for master bedroom before I moved into my new condo- everything good until the final result- I had a valance made (I believe the valance alone was $1000+)on top of the curtains to keep the sun out- disappointed that 2 seams or piping is crooked - I called Linda & she came back out and insisted they were not crooked- since then had 2 designers confirm they were crooked, and to live with it. I made it clear I was very light sensitive with this room facing south and my curtains should overlap or close better than they do, have slight gap. I will not return or recommend them. I did have linen drapes made for my dining room from a different company & they are perfect. I do not recall exact price of my bedroom drapes.

I was so impressed meeting Nancy Boultee after seeing her work in magazine and reading about her online $100 an hour and she provides trade discounts at some companies. I showed her a photo of a bed I liked and she found one for me that looked like it. She helped me not go with the wrong flooring I might have done on my own and it is a pleasure having her knowledge and assistance. My linen curtains are from a company that she used in Vancouver and I am very h appy with them and her recommendations and referrals.

These are the BEST movers in the city. I will never use anyone else - punctual professional intelligent and caring about your furniture.Nothing damaged unlike other moving companies that hit a corner or bang furniture. They wrap furniture better than others too.

A few years ago I had Jordans install a Tigerwood flooring in my 2 bedrm condo everywhere except 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen.It was a beautiful floor and Ian did a commendable job.He tore out carpets and my place looked so much better with this high end floor & his expert work.Ian is an expert at engineered hardwood installation.

Our condo contractted drainage/sloping work on our balconies and I decided to have their work inspected because of workmanship and company reputation concerns, 2 days after my balcony work had been completed, Glenn Duxbury found that there was a section that was not adhering properly & when it rained there would be a problem. I had just paid a few $1000 for this work & thankful Glenn found it so I could have it repaired before the contractors left our condo. High level of knowledge and very thorough, without his help it would have been missed.Recommend him for home inspections for any reason.I did not keep my receipt and cannot recall what the exact cost was.

I purchased 2 wall light sconces to be installed on either side of my bathroom mirror. Charles did a great job, they look evenly balanced and the extra lighting enhances the bathroom.

Professional expert measurements and installation. Large selection of fabrics for drapes, cushions, custom headboards etc. Very impressed with the expert knowledge and focus on meeting my specific needs. My linen curtains look fantastic. I saw their curtains on a cover of Canadian House & Home magazine they did for a local interior designer in Vancouver. This is how I found out about them.

Price dependent on number of window screens- I had 6 window screens with 2 wicket doors measured and installed which now give air flow & ventillation without bugs! I don;t have to worry about having open windows 24 /7 with no more mosquitoes flies wasps with my new screens. The Screens were custom made in Vancouver and delivered and installed in my condo within a week. Great service and installation and the screens look great. Thanks Joe for professional job and assistance! They also do screen doors and retractable screen doors- I am highly satisfied with the job and recommend them!
