Service was unimpressive right from the start. We purchased a Grey Forest home and were given a $12,000 allowance through Elmwood Kitchens in St Catherine's. There was no indication what so ever of what a basic cabinet layout would look like within the allocated allowance and we chose our hardware out of a box. We had to drive to Stoney Creek to select our granite counter tops and were not given any idea of what the sq ft price would be from the supplier. When it came time to conduct our final inspection, the granite was not yet installed because the representative at Elmwood Kitchens decided to do the granite installer a favour at our expense. Now we have moved in and the poor service continues. We are now staring at a cabinet without a door because it had a faulty finish and was removed to be redone. In the past when dealing with more professional companies, the door was simply replaced. I would strongly encourage people to avoid the unnecessary frustration with this very unprofessional company and choose a more reputable one.
