When I first met Mauro he seem nice and knowledgeable, we did a manage fee contract that is written in a wierd way so please review it with a lawyer before signing with them. I trusted him but should've walk far away after my demolition went over budget by 25%, it wasn't a big deal at the time but when we started framing in August 2013 and Sandro was using the wrong drawings I knew I had made one of the biggest mistake of my life... I went ahead with them and noticed that they would never visit the job site and trades didn't know what they were doing, wrong pot lights were installed in my basement that could have cause my house to burn down if my husband didn't google and research everything. Every mistake that the trades made for not being supervised.....Mauro fixed them but charged a lot extra for doing it. I paid to protect a tub that got damaged and then I was asked to pay for repairing the scratches caused by tile installer. Unless you want to supervise the building of your own home do not hire them, you will regret it. My husband and I have just moved into our home 3 weeks ago and are still dealing with the lack of supervision that comprised the safety of our family. The trades don't talk to one another and no one checks their work. Feel free to ask me for more info if require, your own home is one of the biggest investment in your life and must be handle by experts not them.
