When our original 47 year old Lennox furnace failed to provide heat on a Thursday morning, I called Peel Heating Service Experts. A technician arrived a short time later and identified the problem as a failed gas valve. However, due to the age of the furnace, he felt obligated to check the heat exchanger with a camera. Unfortunately there were some holes and cracks, so it was time for a new furnace. The technician offered to arrange for a sales consultant to meet with us in the afternoon. Don arrived at the appointed time and provided us with several options, with no attempt to upsell. We decided to have our original AC replaced at the same. Since we had a no heat condition, Don tried to arrange for installation the next day but we had to wait until Saturday because the installers had been fully booked. They arrived at the scheduled time and had the old system removed and the new high efficiency HVAC system installed with 7 hours. The technicians were extremely professional, efficient and left no mess. A few days later, the sales consultant, Don, visited us to view the installation, complete the OPA Energy Rebate paperwork, and ensure that we were satisfied. We have experienced neither hot nor extremely cold weather since the new HVAC system has been installed but we are hopeful that it will perform as anticipated and with substantial energy savings that will more than offset the initial price and future recommended service maintenance costs.
