Michael and his team removed an old concrete walkway from our backyard. The job was done quickly and no mess was left behind, and they even took away a bit of extra construction debris we had from previous renos. The team was also able to expertly navigate moderately tricky access to our backyard via a laneway. Would definitely use again for any future demolition needs.

Have used Mr. Roof Repair for a roof inspection on two different homes and have been very satisfied both times. Their report gives a homeowner invaluable insight into the condition of their roof and other roof systems such as eavestroughs, vents etc. Even if you don't use them for an eventual repair, you are much more informed and prepared when or if you need to get quotes on larger jobs from multiple companies. The reports are thorough, full of photos and the staff were more than willing to answer any questions I had about the report.

I had Derek and his team polish the floors in my 400 sq. ft basement in Toronto. Derek went out of his way to explain the somewhat complicated process of polishing the floor and has a very friendly and laid back demeanor. He showed up on time and was very communicative throughout the process. The whole job took about 2.5 days and the final results looked great. It was a struggle to find a floor polisher in Toronto, and it was great to find someone who very clearly passionate about their work. I would definitely recommend Floorlab for your floor polishing needs.

Had the Demo boys demo my old basement in my Toronto home, which at one point at been a basement apartment. Before the demo, it was easy to reach Frank, and he was able to come by a few days later and walk through the job and he was able to start a week later. I had the estimate that evening, and it was less that he had originally estimated, because he was honest in having given it more thought they could do the job in 1 day instead of 2. The team arrived on time and worked quickly and with as little disruption as possible for a job that was loud and messy. They cleaned up after they were done, and Frank even followed up with a phone call the next morning, to check on everything and make sure the dumpster had been removed. I would definitely not hesitate using them again, and probably will for a smaller kitchen demo in the near future.

Antonio and his Team at Java Electric did an excellent job with a complete Knob and Tube removal and rewiring for my house. Upon purchasing my first house, I was somewhat leary about the prospect of having to have to do a pretty comprehensive and big job right at the start. Antonio did a very through inspection of the house and asked many questions to find out what I was looking for, regarding outlet positioning and lighting. I had four quotes done and by far Antonio gave me the best impression of the group. He provided a very clear and easy to understand quote, and the final price matched it exactly. My house is an older house, without an attic and with minimal space between the plaster and the walls, which presents challenges for stringing wire, but the team worked hard to minmize the amount of holes they had to drill. I was also living in the house while they were doing the work, and they went to great lengths to minimize the disruption to spaces that I was using, such as the kitchen, bedroom, office space. They were able to start the job, the week after they provided the quotation and worked long days 6-7 days a week, to finish the majority of the job in about 2 weeks. I work full time, so was unable to be around while the working on the house, but it was easy to access Antonio to ask any questions to get any updates throught the project. Every night before they left, Antonio or a member of the team would give ma run through of what they had done, and would answer any questions I had about the process, and would update me on what they were going to tackle next. During the job when I casually mentioned that I was hoping to put exhaust fans in the bathrooms, Antonio offered to put them for no additional cost, and even picked up alot of the parts for the fan system for me (I have no car, so getting to hardware store can be a challenge). Every night when they left for the day, the team did a through clean up, removing any dust or debris. All the members of his crew were friendly and respectful of the space. Overall I feel Java Electic went above and beyond and provided an excellent level of service and I would recommend them to anyone I knew who was doing electrical work, and will use them again in the future.
