I called Gancy in the morning to find out about his company and what he would do to address the carpenter ant issue I found in my house and he told he would be by between 1 and 2 that day. He gave me a quote over the phone once I described the type and size of my house. At 12:15 he called to say he had finished at the site he was at and could actually come earlier. When he arrived, Gancy was friendly and explained in detail what he would do. He was knowledgeable and clearly he alot of experience in doing pest control. Gancy proceeded to do his work, which was very thorough. The quote he had given me was honoured, no issue. I was impressed by how quick he responded to my call, his knowledge and thoroughness. He was friendly and personable. A pleasure to deal with. It seems the issue is solved- 2 days have gone by and haven't seen an ant ! I would definately recommend Pest Control to anyone that is in need of this serive. Rick

I suspected the solenoid valve on my mom's washer was starting to malfunction. I called Peter and once i described the issue he confirmed that was the issue and even told me i could replace it myself. I did decide to retain him and within a day Peter had ordered the part and had scheduled a visit to install it. Peter checked the machine thoroughly to make sure it was worthwhile replacing the part and not replacing the machine (it is a 20-25 year old machine). The machine checked out and he replaced the part (and even cleaned /swept the dust behind/under where the machine was). Peter impressed both my mom and I with his knowledge and quick response and exemplary service. I highly recommend Peter Petrou and Modern Appliance to everyone.
