We have a patio on top of our garage that caused quite a bit of problems over the years. Water would go into our garage and get trapped between the drywall and brick layer. Essentially over time, brick just started to crumble. Due to the moisture, it created a provide ground for a bunch of carpenter ants to create their colonies. We got rid of the ants last year by removing all the drywall. Long story short, Steve and Taylor came repair all the damaged bricks. As he started pulling the bricks down, he noticed that the joist (part of the frame) was completed rotten due to moisture and ants building their colonies. He was able to help replace the rotten joist, find the source of the leak and replace all the crumble bricks! Throughout the process, he kept in touch letting us know what's going on. Additionally, we've looked at 5 different masonry on Homestars. He's the only one that provided a reasonable quote. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends. Thanks Steve. We had a problem with our furnace and didn't know who to call. We had a company come in and provide us with a quote for replacing both furnace and ac. But all we wanted to have this fix instead of replace. I know we will eventually have to replace it in the next few years but Matthew came by spent 10 mins and pin point the exact issue. Problem resolved less than 30 mins. The only fault was that I didn't call sooner.
