We called Frank to renovate our deck. He dropped by the next day to look at our 10 yr old deck. We have some ideas about the bigger features we would like on the deck (i.e. bench seatings), and he helped us filled in the finer details (i.e. lattices at the bottom of the deck). He gave us a quote that night. Once we have decided to have Frank build our deck and agreed on a schedule, his crews started to work. After 5 days, (slightly behind schedule), the deck is complete. There were a few things I didn't like about the finishes, but Frank and his crew took care of the issues right away. At the end, the result speaks for itself (see picture). The weather was a bit cold and rainy at the start of the project, but Frank and his crews still worked hard to get the deck done. I would definitely recommend using his service.

I found a large ant hill in my backyard, so I called this company to exterminate it. Kevin explained to me what he plans to do and quoted the price over the phone. When he came over to the house, he sprayed on the ant hill and around the perimeter of the house as well. In the process he found a few more area where the ants are making colony and exterminate those as well, no extra charge! The work is guaranteed, so when I found a new ant colony under one of the patio stone a couple of weeks later, Kevin sent his team (Troy) to exterminate them as well. They are professional and know what they are doing, I highly recommend them.

I had my kitchen floor tiled with polished porcerlain with another company. They did a really poor job grouting the tiles, and I was very upset. I didn't know what to do next, so I went to homestars to find some tiling experts. I called David based on the good reviews, to see if he would be able to fix the problem. I explained the problem to him, and he gave me some really good advice on how I should approach my contractor to get the problem resolved. He even offered to drop by to take a look if I have no luck following up with the contractor. Following his advice, I was able to get my contractor to fix the grouts, and all is good now. David is willing to spend time with on a tiling job that he did not do (for free!), so I'm confident he is the man to go to for any tiling job! I'll definitely call you when I need to do my tiles!

I booked the 12:30pm slot, but since they had a previous job that lasted until 4pm, they didn't arrive until 5pm. Needless to say, I was upset, especially because I had to deal with the condo management to keep my elevator time slot available. However, they compensated their lateness by providing 3 movers for the price of 2. They were sincerely apologetic about the uncontrollable circumstances and started my move right away, at top speed!! My new house is >20km away, and they completed the move within 4.5hr. They were careful with my furniture, and even though I have no A/C in a scorching day, they still move tirelessly. Ernest, Eric and Lester, you are the man! Took one star off because they are late, but they are definitely the best movers I've had.
