Mr. Rooter is great when you have an emergency like a burst pipe, because they usually have someone there very quickly. This is why I give their number to my tenants. HOWEVER: If you have a job that can wait, do yourself a favour and shop around, because I have found quotes by Mr. Rooter to be more than 4X as much as other companies! I understand that they have more overhead and administration and therefore would have to be somewhat more expensive, but I have one example where they initially quoted me over $600 for a repair job that was completed by another company for less than $150!!! That's a bit much...

Gagnon Plumbing completed my pipe repair job at a much better and fairer price than other companies I had called. Phil was very polite and pleasant to deal with and showed up exactly when he said he would! I will definitely use Gagnon Plumbing for any future jobs I have.
