My wife and I always thought the odour from our basement was related to mold. We put off the inspection because we couldn’t afford an expensive mold removal project. Shawn inspected our home in May and found a broken plumbing vent pipe emitting sewer gas odours. We had a plumber replace the pipe and presto no more odour. This is after receiving a 4,000.00 quote from a mold removal company that came in and tested the air. I recommend independent testing and consulting before any work regarding air quality.
