We noticed a smell coming from our vents and thought it was a gas leak. After the fire department and gas company confirmed it was not a gas leak, we called Toronto Drain & Plumbing on Saturday. Slavic was able to come within a couple of hours to diagnose the problem and recommended for us to install a back water valve. He was able to start on Monday, obtained the building permit, arranged appointments with the city inspector and his staff were able to complete the job at the cost and less than the time frame (one day!) he quoted. They did a very neat job installing the back water valve and they cleaned up the area very nicely. There was no more smell after the installation so he fixed the problem. Slavic even helped us fill out paperwork to obtain a rebate from the city. I would highly recommend Toronto Drain & Plumbing because Slavic was fast, knowledgeable and professional!

We needed to replace our 20+ year old furnace and air conditioning unit. We received quotes from MANY heating & cooling companies and Home Saving Inc. offered the best price and the the longest labour warranty (5 years)! The sales rep was very friendly and professional. My only VERY MINOR complaint was that he did not seem 100% up-to-date on the codes, which I don't blame him for since he is not involved in the installation. He was able to recommend us the correct model for the size for our home and was very responsive to my many follow up questions. The installers arrived early, took their shoes off, laid out drop sheets and cleaned up the area before leaving. The installer was very knowledgeable and was patient in answering our questions. He made some installation suggestions to maximize efficiency. After the installation, the installer explained everything in detail while walking us through a test run. He even showed my husband how to install The Nest thermostat should we choose to switch thermostats in the future. So far, we are very pleased! Our house cools very nicely.
