Fence Install and Lawn Seeding
Dave did not follow through with the services we paid him for. He is not trustworthy, he is manaipulative and a crook. He dissapeared once we had paid him in full left us to have to hire someone to do the job that we paid him to do. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN OR COMPANY for gardening or snow removal. I would just like to add having just seen the comments from Dave Estrien that his story about not watering is completely false and misleading. It was his failing to seed that caused the lawn not to grow not the lack of watering. His explanation is a completely in accurate representation of the events that transpired.

There are always 2 sides to the story so let me explain mine. Rob had used my company for snow plowing and I assume was happy because he continued my services into the summer season. We built him a fence and seemed happy enough with it to refer us to his neighbor.
Due to the lack of repsonsibility and care of his lawn the previous year it was about 8 inches tall and full of weed, I suggested new soil and seed and had said i can make it want to grow but he has to water and take care of it. At the same time they asked for a flower garden in back and being the nice guy that I am I cut out the grass and added soil at no extra charge. He hired me to do weekly lawn cutting for the summer (he said only till Aug,because he thinks his grass is different then everyone elses that we cut atleast till Oct) which we did and would put additional grass seed down periodically, but weeks later the grass seed would still be on surface which was an indication that watering wasn't being done. (I can make it want to grow but can't make it grow)
Rob's wife contacted me in September to discuss the problem and I said I would add more seed and come back to check status but she has to water, after she said no problem I put down seed, 2.5 weeks later I came back to put more seed if needed and the original seed was still on the lawn showing me watering wasn't being done.
Rob's father in law ia a lawyer and sent me a letter sueing me for $600 for this $400 job. They sent it on the 15th and gave me till the 18th to reply and Rob wrote this rewview on the 17th - so you tell me who is fair. I can't work with people that can't help themselves.
